André Bronkhorst

Glory to God!

We had an amazing Prophetic Encounter conference with André Bronkhorst this weekend. With great clarity, accuracy and encouragement, André ministered prophetically to many people in the meetings. The combination of André's powerful teaching and revelation of the Father's heart strengthened our faith, renewed our hope and moved us into greater depths of love for the Lord, for one another and for God's salvation purposes. Following are links to the messages shared at each session with a short summary of the content:

Session 1: "Training your senses" - As the Church learns to depend on the presence of God and becomes sensitive to the Holy Spirit through resting, praying, fasting, worshipping and listening, she will be transformed. The Church is called to become mature and discerning as she constantly feeds on God's truth and influences the world with God's presence (Acts 1:8; 10:1-4; Heb 5:14).

Session 2: "Filled with the knowledge of the glory" - Looking at 1 Cor 12:7, André explained the difference between words of knowledge, words of wisdom and prophecy. He then spoke to us about the glory of God and how believers need to have revelation of the Lord's glory in order to be carriers of the knowledge of the glory of God. André encouraged us to pursue the knowledge of the glory of God and to birth it in our "off-season" so that we can produce it in season (Hab 2:14; Num 24:15,16; Ps 19:1-5; Pro 2:4-7; Dan 1:17; 12:4; Mt 13:11; Rom 1:28; 1 Cor 1:5; 2 Cor 2:14; Eph 4:13)!

Session 3: "You will receive power" -  Dependence on the Holy Spirit and recognising His work prepares us for what God has prepared for us (Rom 8:26; Acts 1:8).

Session 4: "Living in the glory" - Looking at the account of Elisha's request to receive a double portion of Elijah's anointing in 2 Kings 2:9-15, André showed us that God wants us to walk in a double portion of His anointing this year as a church - a season of 'more than enough'! André encouraged us not to withhold what we are able to give in order to touch the lives of others with the blessings we, ourselves have received. Just as Elisha and Elijah were assigned to one another, so the Church is called to seek out divine relationships that God has assigned to release blessing and breakthrough. As the Church grows in her understanding of God's grace, she will learn to live in God's glory and be a blessing to believers and unbelievers alike.

Yesterday's meeting was electric. The place was full of hungry and expectant worshippers who joined together with one heart and one spirit to seek God's face and worship Him. Our time of worship in song moved into a powerful time of communion as we received the very life of Christ and participated in His body and His blood (see Jn 6:53-57; 1 Cor 10:16,17; 11:23-26). After his message on "Living in the glory", André prophesied over many people who were visibly moved by the accuracy of the words spoken and the revelation of the Father's heart. He then invited the church to come forward for prayer and to be anointed as we continued in worship. It was another very powerful time as many were filled with the Spirit and God confirmed His Word. The presence of God was so strong that people did not want to leave but enjoyed communion with the Holy Spirit or fellowship with one another over a hot drink and cake. It was a joy to have so many people at the meeting and have such an awesome time with God as a conclusion to our 3 day Prophetic Encounter conference! Hallelujah!

Francois Botes

Glory to God!

Our Resonating Heaven Conference with Francois Botes was awesome! We truly had a weekend of hearing and experiencing the Father's heart. You can listen to Francois' teaching here.

On Sunday we continued to look at what it means to Live C.H.U.R.C.H:
  • To be a community that lives Christ-centred lives.
  • To be a community that lives holy lives.
  • To be a community that lives in unity.
  • To be a community that lives in relationship.
  • To be a community that co-labours.
  • To be a community that lives healthy lives.
 We then noted the following,
  • Jesus Christ is the head of His body, the Church. Ephesians 4:15,16
  • As a Christ-centred community, the church must submit to the authority, will and wisdom of Christ if she is to be like Him in this world. 1 John 2:6
  • Jesus must become the believer's new reality so that his or her life is viewed and experienced completely in Christ. Galatians 2:20
  • The apostle Paul lived with Christ as his reality. For him, to live was Christ so that Christ became his life. Likewise the believer must learn to live with Christ as his or her reality. Paul writes,
“I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God who loved me and gave himself for me.” Galatians 2:20
“Christ, who is your life..” Colossians 3:4
“To live is Christ.” Philippians 1:21
“Christ is all and is in all.” Colossians 3:11
“And he died for all so that those who live should no longer live for themselves but for him who died for them and was raised again.” 2 Corinthians 5:15
“The reality..is found in Christ.” Colossians 2:17
“Christ in us, the hope of glory” Colossians 1:27
  • The believer is one with Christ. Consequently, the believer can view his or her past, present and future in Christ.
  • Christ is the Medium through which the believer exists and lives for the glory of God. 1 Corinthians 8:6
  • God is omnipresent and therefore always present to us. Psalm 139:5-12
  • To live a Christ-centred life is to be present to God. James 4:8

As the Church lives in the reality of Christ and is present to Him, she lives a Christ-centred life.

In response to God's Word to us, we prayed the Truth together to be present to Jesus. You can read the prayer here. We praise God for revealing His truth to us and for helping us to live C.H.U.R.C.H.!

This Saturday we will have our Church Day together. It will be a fun time together as we hear what God is doing with KLF and where He is taking us. It will also be an opportunity to find out more about what takes place behind the scenes at KLF.

Live C.H.U.R.C.H.!

Übersetzung findest du hier.

Glory to God!

Alexander Blair spoke to us at the beginning of the year about 3 doors God is calling us to go through in 2014. Looking at 3 doors mentioned in the Book of Revelation, the Lord showed us that the 3 doors are the Door of Revelation (Rev 4:1) the Door of God's Favour (Rev 3:7,8) and the Door of Consecration (Rev 3:20). You can listen to the sermon here: Positioning yourself for 2014.

Two Sundays ago we had the privilege of having Elias Armenis with us. Elias is founder of Passage to Life, a ministry that reaches out to the poor, the homeless, drug addicts and prostitutes in Athens, Greece. In response to Elias' testimony and report, we joined together in prayer for the needy in Athens and Frankfurt and many went through the door of consecration as they committed themselves to be available to God to go out on the streets and reach out to the poor and needy with the Father's love. For more information on Passage to Life click here.

Last Sunday Richard Morschel spoke to us about what it means to Live C.h.u.r.c.h. Looking at Ephesians 4:15 and 16, we noted the following:
  • We are called to be a community that is Christ-centred.
  • We are called to be a community that lives holy lives.
  • We are called to be a community that lives in unity with one another.
  • We are called to be a community that lives in relationship with one another.
  • We are called to be a community that co-labours.
  • We are called to be a community that lives healthy lives.
You can listen to the sermon here: Christ paid the price so we can be one.

We also heard the testimony of a man who lives on the streets and was invited to come to the service last week. He reported that during the worship God touched him in such a way that he experienced electricity go through his whole body three consecutive times. Consequently he has stopped drinking and believes God has delivered him from alcoholism! Hallelujah!

Elizabeth Nehring and her team have begun their youth discipleship course that will run this year to train and equip our young people in their walk with God.

On Tuesday evenings, KLF will be offering various courses to equip the saints. At present Richard and  Frances Morschel are leading a 3-week course on praying for one another. For more information please contact Frances: office@kingdomlife-frankfurt.com.

We are excited about this coming weekend as we will have the privilege of having Francois Botes with us from Friday to Sunday for our Resonating Heaven conference. For more information on the conference click here.

KLF's  8-week discipleship course will be running from the first Saturday in February and will take place in the afternoons in German and English. If you are part of KLF and are interested in taking part in the course, please contact Frances: office@kingdomlife-frankfurt.com.

Upcoming events

New Life in Christ

Glory to God!

Yesterday we celebrated new life in Christ! Three people were baptised and one person recommitted his life to God. It is so exciting to hear the testimonies of lives that have been touched by God and to hear the hearts of those captured by His love. Hallelujah!

The Lord spoke to us about what this new life in Christ means for every believer. This is what He showed us:

Those who do not believe in Jesus are:
  • joined to darkness. Eph. 5:8; Col. 1:13
  • enemies of God. Col. 1:21; Rom. 5:10
  • separated from God. Col. 1:21; Eph. 2:12
  • objects of God's wrath. Eph. 2:3
Those who believe in Jesus are:
  • joined to light. Col. 1:13; Eph. 5:8,9
  • friends of God. Rom. 5:10
  • made one with God. Rom. 6:3,4; 1 John 4:15
  • objects of blessing. Eph. 1:3; 2:4,5
Union with God means:
  • God is in us to empower us. Eph. 1:18-21; 3:20,21; Col. 1:28,29; Phil. 4:13; Eph. 6:10
  • God is with us to encourage us. John 14:15-18; Joshua 1:5-9
  • God is upon us to authorise us. Matt. 3:16,17; Matt. 28:16-20
Baptism demonstrates our death to a life that was separated from God and the birth into a new life in Christ - a life united to God so that we live:
  • from His presence in us
  • because of His presence with us
  • for His presence upon us

We praise God for His awesome revelation to us and for helping us enter into the experience of being one with Him!

Kingdom Life is excited to host the upcoming Sound of Heaven conference with Steve Porter. The meetings will be powerful and intimate encounters with God. Click here for more info...

Quote of the week:

"Since we have died to sin, how can we continue to live in it? Or have you forgotten that when we were joined with Christ Jesus in baptism, we joined him in his death? For we died and were buried with Christ by baptism. And just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glorious power of the Father, now we also may live new lives." Rom.6:2-4

Foundation Building

Glory to God!

Yesterday the Lord spoke to us about what He is doing with KLF and why He is doing it. Looking at Haggai 1:1-2:19, the Lord showed us that He is rebuilding, restoring and renewing foundations so that we will see a greater glory!

"The future glory of this present house will be greater than the glory of the former house." Haggai 2:9
  • The Lord is aligning our foundations with Christ our Cornerstone. 1 Peter 2:4-6
  • Our relationships are being aligned with Christ, our First Love. Rev. 2:1-4
  • Our identity is being aligned with the truth of who we are in Christ. Mark 1:11
  • Our dependency is being aligned to dependency on God and not ourselves. Mark 14:27-31, 48-51
  • Possessiveness is being exchanged for stewardship as we depend on God as our Provider. Phil. 4:10-13
The Church will only see the greater glory as she dies to self and trusts completely in God and aligns her foundation with the Cornerstone - Christ the Hope of Glory!

We praise God for rebuilding, restoring and renewing us so that we will see and experience the greater glory! Hallelujah!

From the 26 - 29 May the International Kingdom Power Conference will be held at CZF. Find out more about this exciting event here...

Quote of the week:

"What we must realise is that because there is so much self-life in us, the power of God cannot work in us as mightily as He desires. Do you realise that God is longing to double His blessing, to give ten-fold blessing through us? But there is something hindering Him, and that something is nothing but the self-life." Andrew Murray (Absolute Surrender)

Dwelling in the Wind of the Spirit

Glory to God!

The Lord is continuing to rebuild solid foundations in us and strip away weak and unfruitful convictions in our lives. This process of rebuilding, restoring and renewing is challenging but it is leading us into greater revelation and experience of God's presence, power and love. On Sunday the Lord spoke to us about His Kingdom and how many believers observe and wait (Luke 17:20,21) for the reality of the Kingdom instead of seeing and entering in (John 3:3,5). To "see and enter in" is to dwell (John 15:4) in the awareness of the King and His Kingdom. Our spiritual birth began with the wind of the Spirit (John 3:8) and must continue in the Breath of God if we are to manifest His presence and influence the world (Acts 2:2).

The Lord has led us to begin the process of becoming a bilingual church (english/german). God began the Church by breaking the language barrier (Acts 2:6) and our hearts' desire is to help all those who are added to our number to be able to benefit fully from the Anointing upon KLF. We also have a burden for the lost in this city and nation and want to be able to reach them and disciple them in their own language. We are excited and challenged by the opening of this new door but we believe this is the Lord's way of planting us in this city and nation "for the display of His splendour (Is. 61:3)!"

From the 26 - 29 May the International Kingdom Power Conference will be held at CZF. Find out more about this exciting event here...

Quote of the week:

"Remain in me, and I will remain in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain in the Vine. Neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in me." John 15:4

Reigning in Life!

Glory to God!

On Saturday the women of KLF had a brilliant time together as the Lord revealed the truth of His goodness to them and they encountered and experienced the God who is good!

On Sunday the Lord spoke to us about how He wants His children to reign in life (Rom. 5:17)! Having received God's abundant grace and the gift of righteousness, the believer can live in the fullness of life God has given him/her. However many Christians aren't living the abundant life God intends for them.

Looking at the history of Israel, the Lord showed us 3 stages that symbolise our walk with God.
  1. The first stage is in Egypt - the "house of slavery" where man is ruled by satan and his kingdom of darkness. Eph. 2:1-3; Col. 1:13
  2. God rescues His people out of bondage and are led into the desert, having been led through the Red Sea - the waters of baptism.
  3. God's will is for His children to be led directly out of bondage into the promised land - the life of abundance where His children reign in life.
  4. However, God first leads us through the desert (the second stage) to ensure that the believer loses his self-life.
  5. The children of Israel wandered/roamed in the desert as long as they:
  • Lived in unbelief. Heb. 3:7-12; 4:1-3
  • Worshipped created gods and served them. Ex.32
  • Lived according to their own desires and will. Num. 16
  1. Joshua led the children of Israel through the Jordan (a type of Spirit-baptism) once the Israelites believed God's Word, devoted themselves to God alone and surrendered their lives to the Lord (stage 3).
  2. The believer is baptised in the Spirit when he allows the Holy Spirit to control him and saturate him.
  3. Only as the believer is dominated by the Holy Spirit can he dominate/ reign in life!
The account of Jesus in Luke 3 and 4 demonstrates many striking parallels:
  1. Jesus was baptised and led into the desert by the Spirit. Luke 3:21,22; 4:1,2
  2. In the desert (not 40 years but 40 days), Jesus was tempted by the devil to try to move Jesus away from absolute surrender and faith in the Word of God. Luke 4:3,4
  3. The devil also tried to get Jesus to worship him rather than the Father. Luke 4:5-8
  4. Jesus was also tempted by the devil to do His own will just as the Israelites rebelled in the desert. Luke 4:9-12; Heb. 3:7-12
  5. Jesus proved His absolute surrender to God's will and returned to Gallilee in the power of the Spirit! Luke 4:14
  6. Jesus then entered the "promised land" as He applied God's Word to Himself and walked in the promises of the Father. Luke 4:16-21
The 3 stages are:
  1. Egypt-house of slavery-kingdom of darkness-ruled by satan.
  2. Desert-dying to self-roaming-ruled by self.
  3. Promised Land-faith and surrender-reigning in life-ruled by the Spirit of God.
To reign in life is to believe God's Word and walk in it by faith and in the power of the Holy Spirit.
God's Word to us is both challenging and encouraging. He wants His children to stop roaming and to start reigning as they submit themselves to Him and His Word!
We praise God for His grace and the gift of spiritual revelation, understanding, wisdom and knowledge to know Him more and to reign in life.

A couple of our leaders attended Kingdom Faith's Leaders' Conference last week and were mightily inspired and ignited by the presence of God and the richness of His revelation through the worship and the preaching of His Word. We praise God for our relationship with KF and are excited about what God is doing in them and through them in that nation that is spilling over through the churches that live in covenant relationship with them. Check out this link for excellent resources and teaching...

Quote of the week:

"...if, by the trespass of the one man, death reigned through that one man, how much more will those who receive God's abundant provision of grace and of the gift of righteousness reign in life through the one man, Jesus Christ." Rom. 5:17

Times of refreshing!

Hallelujah!

These are exciting times! These are indeed "times of refreshing from the Lord!" (Acts 3:19,20)

Last weekend we were privileged and blessed to have Mike and Kay Chance with us for our KLF Training Days. You can listen to 3 sessions here and you can view pictures of the Sunday meeting here. We are excited about building with Mike and Kay as they have had years of experience of building God's Kingdom here in Germany with a faith dynamic that is stirring this nation. The weekend with them was very powerful and we look forward to seeing them again later this year. Our next training days will be on the 22nd and 23rd May with Bengt Wedemalm!

The leadership of KLF attended the Kingdom Faith leaders' conference at the beginning of this week and has returned full of faith and expectation, having received great encouragement through the teaching, the anointing and the presence of God in the meetings! We are blessed to be part of the move of God that is happening through Kingdom Faith and the anointing that is being released through our covenant relationship with KF. Glory to God!

This weekend we are looking forward to being part of the Arise Shine! conference organised by Voice in the city and we expect God to once again bring life-changing revelation and liberating encounters with Him through worship and the teaching of His Word.

On Sunday KLF will not be meeting at TPLF but at the Baptist church in Frankfurt-Eschersheim at 3pm for another exciting New Life Celebration when we will be baptising new believers and celebrating their new lives in Christ! Hallelujah!

Quote of the week:

"Repent, then, and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out, that times of refreshing may come from the Lord, and that he may send the Christ, who has been appointed for you - even Jesus." Acts 3:19,20

New Life Celebration

Glory to the God of peace!

These are truly exciting times! The Lord is raising, building and equipping His people to manifest His presence, power and personality! Through the cross we are reconciled to God and to one another! Hallelujah!

Yesterday the Lord spoke to us about not only being reconciled to Him and to one another, but also about how He wants us to be reconciled with ourselves! Looking at the account of Mephibosheth, the Lord showed us how we can grow up with a wrong identity because of not knowing and believing in the covenant God has already made with us by His blood. When we base our identity on our weaknesses and what man and Satan say about us, we become spiritually crippled and cannot walk in the fullness of what God has given us! The Lord wants His people to live out of the covenant He has made with His people. He wants us to live from our new identity in Christ and how God sees us. As God has forgiven us in Christ, so we must forgive ourselves and walk in the blood-bought freedom and identity God has given us. We must be reconciled with ourselves!

We praise God for His amazing work in drawing people to Himself and yesterday we celebrated another new life in Christ through baptism. The Lord is changing lives as we encounter Him and many are testifying to the wonderful work of the Holy Spirit in their lives during and outside our meetings! Hallelujah! You can view pictures taken on the day at http://www.dropshots.com/KLFPhotomosaic

This week is going to be amazing. God's favour is upon us and we sense that God is about to do an even deeper work in us through the ministry of Richard Maybery. You can see the schedule of this week's "Seeking God's Face" meetings at http://www.kingdomlife-frankfurt.com/resources/Maybery.pdf.

The Lord wants us to know Him so that we can make Him known! Everyone is welcome to attend these meetings and we will be translating the meetings into German for any German-speaking guests.

Quote of the week:

"Jesus replied: 'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.' This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: 'Love your neighbour as yourself.'" Matthew 22:37-39

Sowing Spiritual Seed

Glory to God!

Last week the leaders of KLF attended a 3 day leaders conference at Kingdom Faith in Horsham, England. We are blessed to be in covenant relationship with Kingdom Faith and are excited about how God is saying the same things to us as He is saying to them! It is a privilege to be part of KF's apostolic anointing and to be a part of the work that the Lord is doing in them and through them. The leaders conference was a great opportunity to build new relationships as well as strengthen existent ones. The meetings were very powerful as we met with God in worship and through His Word to us. We are on an exciting journey with God and it's wonderful to walk together with KF and be one in spirit and purpose. Hallelujah!

As part of equipping our people to walk in the fullness of God's purposes for their lives, we are thrilled that two of our people will be attending Kingdom Faith's Faith College where they will encounter God in a dynamic and powerful way and be trained to know Him and make Him known!

Yesterday's meeting was awesome! The presence of God was evident the moment we began to "enter in" and the Holy Spirit led us deeper and deeper into the glory and holiness of God. We praise God for His favour upon us and the anointing that is on our worship. Glory to Him!

KLF supports a ministry in India called Hermon Living Water Ministries that is doing a mighty work in India planting new churches, raising up spiritual leaders, building and supporting orphanages and schools and reaching the lost with the Gospel. Yesterday we were privileged to be visited by members of the leaderhip team of HLWM and to have the opportunity to further establish our relationship with them and pray with them. Hallelujah.

The Lord is speaking to us about honouring Him and yesterday He showed the following:

  1. When we overflow with the grace that God has lavished upon us - the gift of Himself to us, we not only reveal Him and thereby honour Him (because we reveal in the natural what we believe we have received in the spiritual), but we sow spiritual seed.
  2. Every person sows seed with their lives that will either be of the flesh, the devil or spiritual seed. Gal. 6:7,8
  3. We reap what we sow. 2 Cor. 9:6-15
  4. When we sow spiritual seed we will receive an abundant harvest of righteousness. 2 Cor. 9:10
  5. When we sow spiritual seed we will receive God's abundance and newness. Prov. 3:9,10
  6. When we sow spiritual seed we live under an open heaven and release heaven on earth. Mal. 3:10-12
  7. When we sow spiritual seed into others, we release the Kingdom of God into their lives that will produce everlasting fruit!
  8. To sow spiritual seed we must die to self and overflow with the Life that the Father has sown into our lives. John 12:23-25

The Lord is saying this to His Body:

My children, because you are enthusiastic (possessed by God) and generous (of noble birth), take initiative and sow spiritual seed willingly, eagerly, sacrificially, suddenly, excellently, and despite the circumstances and receive the blessing that will flow into your life and into the lives of others, thereby honouring Me.

We praise God for His hand upon us and we give Him all the glory for what He is doing in us and through us! Hallelujah!

Quote of the week:

"I tell you the truth, unless a kernel of wheat falls to the ground and dies, it remains only a single seed. But if it dies, it produces many seeds. The man who loves his life will lose it, while the man who hates his life in this world will keep it for eternal life." John 12:24,25

Honouring God with a Spirit of Generosity

Thanks be to God for the riches of His grace that he has lavished on us with all wisdom and understanding!

This week has been another awesome time with God. He is truly anointing our meetings together whether on the streets of Frankfurt or our midweek meetings. The Lord is moving the Church inside out and yesterday we joined several hundred people to march through Frankfurt and proclaim the name of Jesus. We were privileged to be able to have our worship team kick off the march as they filled the inner city of Frankfurt with songs of proclamation and worship. Hallelujah! Click here for more details..

The Lord is revealing His glory to the world through His Body, the Church!

The Lord is continuing to show us what it means to honour Him and today we looked at 2 Corinthians 8:1-9 and the Lord showed us the following:

The Macedonian churches demonstrated a spirit of generosity by,

  1. Living out of the grace they had received. 8:1; Eph. 1:6-8
  2. Living according to the riches of God's spiritual blessings rather than their circumstances. 8:2
  3. Overflowing with joy and welling up in rich generosity because of God's favour and their identity in Christ (generous means "of noble birth"). 8:2
  4. Living sacrificially by going the extra mile. 8:3
  5. Taking initiative and not waiting for instructions. 8:3
  6. Being desperate to serve. 8:4
  7. By doing the unexpected. 8:5
  8. By completing the task. 8:6,11
  9. By excelling. 8:7
  10. By fixing their eyes on Jesus as their example of ultimate generosity. 8:9; Phil. 2:5-11

We honour God when our lives overflow with the riches of God's grace!

This coming week the KLF leaders will be attending the Kingdom Faith Leadership Conference in Horsham, England.

We are also excited about the upcoming EQUIP seminar on the 11 October when David Rowe will be teaching KLF and guests to encounter God in true worship.

Quote of the week:

"For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, so that you through his poverty might become rich." 2 Cor. 8:9

Suffering

Glory to the King of kings!

We praise God for spiritual revelation, understanding, knowledge and wisdom without which we cannot search the deep things of God! (1 Cor. 2:10, 12-14)

The Lord is speaking to us about suffering and that every Christian is called to suffer if he is to share in the glory (Rom. 8:17; Phil. 3:10; Phil. 1:29; Rom. 5:3). God is also helping us understand what suffering is not and what it really is and showed us on Sunday that:

Suffering is not:

  1. Fatalism - tolerating all physical or emotional pain as God's will
  2. Introspection - focusing on self, self-pity
  3. Always physical or emotional pain
  4. Misery - sorrow

The definition for suffering we've been given is:

To suffer is to bear the consequences of living for God for the sake of others and for the glory of God!

The Lord showed us that:

Suffering is:

  1. Bearing purposefully - actively and purposefully bearing the consequences of living for God as a conqueror and not as a victim!
  2. God-consciousness and not self-centredness
  3. Uncomfortable but not always painful
  4. Joy and not misery

Looking at 1 Peter 2:20-24 we saw that:

  • Jesus suffered purposefully by bearing our sins so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness and be healed (vs 24)
  • Jesus was God-conscious when He suffered as He entrusted Himself to the Father
  • Jesus' death on the cross was certainly not comfortable
  • Jesus' suffering was in the context of joyful obedience for the sake of others and for the glory of the Father (Hebrews 12:2)

We praise God for the truth He is revealing to us that sets us free, that revives us, that encourages us and that empowers us to live for others and for His glory! Hallelujah.

Yesterday, Richard, Frances and David returned from a 3 day leaders' conference at Kingdom Faith in Horsham, England. The conference was excellent and we have returned encouraged and filled as we met with the Lord and received from Him through His presence, His Word and His love. We are very excited about how the Spirit of God is saying the same things to His Church all over the world and that what the Holy Spirit was saying to His people at the conference is very much what we are hearing Him say to Kingdom Life. Much of the emphasis was on being dependent on the Holy Spirit, learning to follow Him and submitting to Him in obedience. God was also challenging us as leaders to understand that there are no short cuts in the anointing and that every believer needs to grow in his own personal relationship with the Lord if he wants to grow in the anointing of the Spirit. We praise God for unity in the Spirit!

As we grow in our relationship with Kingdom Faith, we are also seeking to work together more and more in building God's Kingdom. For this purpose we are looking into having two students from Kingdom Faith Training College visit KLF for a month (mid-June to mid-July) to bless and be blessed as they come to serve and receive opportunities to be trained as we work together. Furthermore we are excited to possibly have Jonathon Dyke and a couple others on his apostolic team come and visit us again before the Summer.

This Sunday we will be having a New Life Celebration in the Baptist church in Eschersheim when will be baptising two young believers! Hallelujah!

God is absolutely amazing! He is orchestrating relationships and connections across the globe in the most awesome ways. He loves to demonstrate His sovereignty and ability to do exceedingly abundantly more than we could possibly think or imagine. Thank you Lord!

Quote of the week:

"The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are God's children. Now if we are children, then we are heirs - heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ, if indeed we share in his sufferings in order that we may also share in his glory." Romans 8:16,17

The Triumph of the Cross!

Glory to the Living One; the One who was dead but behold is alive for ever and ever! Rev. 1:18

We praise God for a truly amazing weekend as we celebrated Christ's victory and triumph on the cross on Friday and His glorious resurrection on Sunday! Both meetings were very powerful as the Lord spoke to us about the significance of the cross and how His resurrection is a confirmation of the truth of who He is and the words He has spoken. The Lord reminded us that the cross has set the believer free!

"It is for freedom that Christ has set us free!" Gal. 5:1

  1. The believer is set free from the law. Rom. 6:14; 7:4
  2. The believer is set free from the power of the flesh and sin. Rom. 6:6
  3. The believer is set free from the power of the world. 1 John 5:4
  4. The believer is set free from the power of satan. Luke 10:19
  5. The believer is therefore set free from the bondage of satan in his,
  • body - Acts 10:36; 1 Peter 2:24
  • soul - 2 Cor, 4:4 (mind); 2 Tim. 1:7 (heart); Eph. 2:1-3 (will)
  • spirit - Eph. 2:1

Not only that! Christ has set us free to reign through Him! We have been reconciled to reign!

Those who receive God's abundant provision of grace and of the gift of righteousness reign in life through Jesus Christ! Rom. 5:17

On Sunday the Lord spoke to us about having faith in Him and His words alone. He showed us that He always confirms His word and that the greatest proof of His faithfulness to His word is the resurrection. Looking at Luke 24, we saw how God expects us to have faith in His word and not to doubt!

  1. The angels "rebuked" the women at the tomb for looking "for the living among the dead" when Jesus had clearly told them that He would rise from the dead. Luke 24:5-8
  2. Jesus "rebuked" the disciples on the road to Emmaus for not believing God's words. Luke 24:25
  3. Jesus reminded the disciples about what He had told them. Luke 24:44

The Lord also reminded us that we need to seek His revelation as we trust in His Word. Luke 24:27, 32, 45; 1 Cor. 2:12

We also experienced great freedom in worship on Sunday and were blessed with God's presence and a powerful sense of His pleasure as we worshipped Him! We praise God for the prophetic words and songs He is giving us that encourage us and enable us to press in even closer to Him. Thank you Lord!

Next week a few of us will be travelling to England to attend the Kingdom Faith leaders' conference and look forward to a dynamic time with our church family there.

Quote of the week:

"Since Christ was raised from the dead, he cannot die again; death no longer has mastery over him. The death he died, he died to sin once for all; but the life he lives, he lives to God." Romans 6:9,10
