Revival of Love

Glory to God!

After an amazing time with Steve Porter last week at our Sound of Heaven Conference, we are sensing God draw us nearer and nearer to Himself. Yesterday the Lord spoke to us about "Uninvited Love" from Luke 7:36-50 and He showed us how true love and worship is expressed when we receive revelation of God's abundant love and forgiveness. In an age where love is distorted and perverted, God is calling the Church to reveal His true love, forgiveness and acceptance to draw sinners to Himself through His loving people. Only as the Church experiences God's love can she express His love!

We praise God for drawing us so close to Him and for the revelation of His unfailing love toward us. As we are filled with Him, we will overflow with Him. Glory to God!

This Sunday KLF will be meeting at 10am at Eastsite 15, Salzschlirfer Str.15 and in the evening we will have our monthly soup kitchen.

Quote of the week:

"I tell you, her sins - and they are many - have been forgiven, so she has shown me much love. But a person who is forgiven little shows only little love." Luke 7:47

Steve Porter

Glory to God!

These are truly exciting times! The Sound of Heaven Conference with Steve Porter was amazing. From Wednesday to Sunday, the Lord used Steve to draw us closer and closer to Himself. The Lord has truly helped KLF, through Steve, to discover greater levels of intimacy with Him and has awakened in all of us a yearning desire to know and experience God more. We praise the Lord for this man of God who truly walks with God and has the gift to help the Church enter into places with God that few have been. Steve Porter and Josh McCreight have been a tremendous blessing to KLF, Frankfurt and Germany and we are convinced that God will continue to use Steve internationally to release a true revival of agape love in and through the Body of Christ! Hallelujah!

The messages from the conference are available here...

Entering the Glory

Glory to God!

Yesterday the Lord spoke to us about worshipping Him in the splendour of His holiness (Psalm 29:2) and this is what He showed us:

Worship
  • Worship is the response to the revelation of God. Rom. 12:1; Isa. 6:1-3; Rev. 4:8-11
  • True worshipers worship what they know. John 4:22
Holiness
  • God is holy. 1 Peter 1:16
  • Holiness means wholeness, completeness, pefection.
  • God is perfect, unique and unchanging. Mt 5:48; Ex. 15:11; Deut. 4:39; Mal. 3:6
  • Holiness describes the essence of God.
Glory
  • The revelation of God's holiness is His glory.
  • Splendour or glory are the manifestation of God's holiness. Ps. 29:2; John 2:11; 11:40
Revealing God's holiness
  • Jesus is the Mediator of God's holiness. 2 Cor. 4:6; Heb. 1:3
  • The believer is filled with God's holiness - the essence of God - the Holy Spirit. 1 Cor.3:16
  • The fruit of the Spirit is the manifestation of God's holiness. Gal. 5:22
  • The believer is called to be holy and to reveal God's holiness. 1 Peter 1:16
  • The believer can only make God known by staying close to His heart. John 1:18 (NLT); John 15:5
Entering God's glory
  • The believer no longer falls short of the glory of God and can enter into the presence of God and the manifestation of His glory through dependence on God's mercy and grace by faith in Christ. Rom. 3:23; Heb. 10:19-22
  • God calls the Church to worship Him in the splendour of His holiness - the revelation of His holiness - God's glory! Psalm 29:2

We praise God for continuing to give us such amazing revelation and for helping us to enter into His glory yesterday! Hallelujah!

New Life in Christ

Glory to God!

Yesterday we celebrated new life in Christ! Three people were baptised and one person recommitted his life to God. It is so exciting to hear the testimonies of lives that have been touched by God and to hear the hearts of those captured by His love. Hallelujah!

The Lord spoke to us about what this new life in Christ means for every believer. This is what He showed us:

Those who do not believe in Jesus are:
  • joined to darkness. Eph. 5:8; Col. 1:13
  • enemies of God. Col. 1:21; Rom. 5:10
  • separated from God. Col. 1:21; Eph. 2:12
  • objects of God's wrath. Eph. 2:3
Those who believe in Jesus are:
  • joined to light. Col. 1:13; Eph. 5:8,9
  • friends of God. Rom. 5:10
  • made one with God. Rom. 6:3,4; 1 John 4:15
  • objects of blessing. Eph. 1:3; 2:4,5
Union with God means:
  • God is in us to empower us. Eph. 1:18-21; 3:20,21; Col. 1:28,29; Phil. 4:13; Eph. 6:10
  • God is with us to encourage us. John 14:15-18; Joshua 1:5-9
  • God is upon us to authorise us. Matt. 3:16,17; Matt. 28:16-20
Baptism demonstrates our death to a life that was separated from God and the birth into a new life in Christ - a life united to God so that we live:
  • from His presence in us
  • because of His presence with us
  • for His presence upon us

We praise God for His awesome revelation to us and for helping us enter into the experience of being one with Him!

Kingdom Life is excited to host the upcoming Sound of Heaven conference with Steve Porter. The meetings will be powerful and intimate encounters with God. Click here for more info...

Quote of the week:

"Since we have died to sin, how can we continue to live in it? Or have you forgotten that when we were joined with Christ Jesus in baptism, we joined him in his death? For we died and were buried with Christ by baptism. And just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glorious power of the Father, now we also may live new lives." Rom.6:2-4

Saved to serve

Glory to God!

Yesterday's meeting was wonderful! God is saving, healing and setting people free. Lives are being changed as they are touched by the Lord and people begin to live for Him. Hallelujah!

As the Lord continues to speak to us about Living in the fear of the Lord, we are learning what it means to live because of God, from God and for God. This is what He showed us yesterday:

When we did not believe in Christ, we were
  • part of the kingdom of darkness (Eph. 5:8)
  • separated from God (Eph. 2:12)
  • enemies of God (Col. 1:21)
  • objects of wrath deserving punishment (Eph. 2:3)
  • ungodly (Rom. 5:6)
However, through faith in Christ, the believer is reconciled to God and becomes,
  • part of the kingdom of light (Eph. 5:8; Col. 1:13)
  • joined to God (1 John 4:15)
  • friends of God (Rom. 5:10,11)
  • objects of blessing (Eph. 2:4-6)
  • godly (2 Peter 1:3,4)
The reason God saves us is so that,
  • We can have an intimate relationship with Him (fellowship). Rom. 5:11; 1 John 1:3
  • We can be like Him and reveal Him (godliness). 2 Peter 1:3,4; 1 John 2:6
  • We can reign in life and live for Him (co-labour). Rom. 5:17
To live in the fear of the Lord is to live for God and serve Him!
  • Jesus came to serve and not to be served. Phil. 2:5-8; Mt 20:26-28
  • Jesus set an example for His followers. John 13:12-17
  • Jesus calls His followers to serve. John 12:26; 1 John 3:16; 2 Cor. 5:15
  • Jesus serves the Father and those who are filled with His Spirit are filled with the Spirit of servanthood. Rom. 6:10,11
  • The apostle Paul lived for God as a bond-servant - a servant unconditionally committed to his master. Rom. 1:1
  • Timothy lived for God and served the Church. Phil. 2:20,21
  • Those who serve others serve God. 1 Thess. 1:3; Hebrews 6:10,11; Eph. 6:5-8
The believer is reconciled to God to live for Him and serve Him.

We praise God for His revelation to us and for showing us what it means to live in the fear of the Lord very practically.

This Sunday we will be having a New Life Celebration and will be baptising new believers at the EFG church in Eschersheim. For more information please click here...

We are excited about having Steve Porter with us from the USA from the 18 -22 May. It will be time of refreshing and encountering God. For more information please click here...
