Walking in faith

Glory to God!

Yesterday God showed us how Abraham feared the Lord and this is what He showed us:
  1. God tests our faith. Gen. 22:1,2; 1 Peter 1:3-7; James 1:2-4; Rom. 5:14; 8:17
  2. Faith does not delay. Gen. 22:3
  3. Faith prepares to obey fully. Gen. 22:3
  4. Faith perseveres. Gen. 22:4
  5. Faith obeys in secret. Gen. 22:5; Matthew 6:1-18
  6. Faith trusts God. Gen. 22:6-8
  7. Faith is continually attentive. Gen. 22:9-11
  8. Faith withholds nothing. Gen. 22:12
  9. Obedience is the evidence of our fear of God and of our faith. Gen. 22:13-18
  10. Obedience results in blessing. Gen. 22:13-18

In the evening we had another opportunity to minister God's truth and love to the poor and homeless and we are witnessing an ever greater response to God's presence, power and love as He shines His light in the darkness. Hallelujah!

We are excited about what is doing in KLF and for the testimonies of lives that are being changed and people recommitting their lives to the Lord. It's wonderful!
Quote of the week:
"Don't lay a hand on the boy!" the angel said. "Do not hurt him in any way, for now I know that you truly fear God. You have not withheld from me even your son, your only son." Gen. 22:12 (emphasis mine)
