Unity and authority!

Glory to God!

This is the year of transformation and growth! Hallelujah! These past two weeks, the Lord has been speaking to us about maturity in Christ. In his message entitled, "What do I still lack?", Alexander showed us from Matthew 19:16-22 how the believer grows in Christ. We noted that following Jesus means living a life of self-abandonment, trusting in God's provision, caring for others, having an eternal perspective and committing one's life to Jesus as Lord and Saviour.

On Sunday, we had another powerful time in God's presence, as He revealed His authority and moved us to use the keys of the Kingdom to release heaven on earth! Alexander then spoke to us from Philippians 4:1-7. In his message, entitled, "Sort it out!", he showed us the important connection between unity and authority. Recognising the believer's responsibility to live at peace with others and to sort out any disagreements, we saw how God calls us to sort out conflict and help others to do the same so that the family of believers can walk in unity and authority.
