Yesterday's meeting was very powerful. As we worshipped God, the Spirit of the Lord began to give us a spirit of prayer and intercession that led us to pray for breakthrough in our own lives and in the lives of others. Alexander Blair then shared from Matthew 8:1-4 and showed us how the man with leprosy was able to come to a place of breakthrough in his life. These are the principles we learned:
- The believer must be prepared to leave the familiar and his or her comfort zone to break through into the new.
- The believer must be prepared to be bold and uncompromising in his or her pursuit of breakthrough.
- The believer must not be concerned with popular opinion if he or she wants breakthrough in his or her life.
- The believer must be convinced of the will of God in order to persevere until he or she experiences a breakthrough.
The Lord then ministered to us as people responded to words of knowledge and were prayed for. Glory to God for His willingness to touch and to heal everyone who comes to Him.
