Glory to God!
We believe 2019 will be a year of transformation! The Lord has been speaking to us about rebuilding spiritual walls and destroying the walls that hinder us on our journey to transformation. In his message entitled, "The Journey to Transformation," Richard spoke to us about the greatest enemy of transformation: apathy! Looking at the example of Nehemiah (Neh 1:1-2:6), we noted how apathy is destroyed in our lives as we inquire (be concerned about others, the Church, the lost, our city and our own walk with the Lord), identify (take responsibility for one's own spiritual walk, the Church and the city), intercede (seek God on behalf of the Church, the lost and the city), and initiate (put faith into action to bring about change).
As a church we will be fasting and praying for 21 days to take time to review, refocus and realign ourselves with the Lord. During these 3 weeks we will be reflecting on Nehemiah and allowing God’s Word to inspire us to rebuild spiritual walls in our own lives, as a church and in our city. If you would like to receive the daily devotional during these 21 days, please write to firstname.lastname@example.org.
