Today the Lord spoke to us about entering His rest and how He not only saves us from the kingdom of darkness but also into fullness of life in Christ so that we are saved completely! This is what He showed us:
- God has revealed a "great salvation" through His Son. Heb. 2:1-4
- Through faith in the Gospel, the believer enters God's salvation/rest. Heb. 4:1-3
- God wants to "save completely" those who come to Him through Christ. Heb. 7:25
- Complete salvation (Gr. sozo) is to be saved, healed and delivered. Matt.8:25; 9:21; Mark 16:16
- God wants His children to "make every effort to enter" this great salvation. Heb. 4:11
- To those who believe and "enter in", God will testify to this great salvation with "signs, wonders, and various miracles, and gifts of the Holy Spirit." Heb. 2:4
- God wants us to understand what Christ has done, is doing and will do for those who trust in Him!
- Jesus, as our great High Priest has made a way for us to enter the inner sanctuary. Heb. 10:19,20
- Jesus, as our great High Priest, lives to intercede for us to save us completely. Heb. 7:23-25; 9:24
- Jesus, as our great High Priest helps us in our weakness. Heb. 4:14-16
- The inner sanctuary is the "sozo zone" where the believer will find the mercy and grace to be saved, healed and delivered completely! Heb. 4:16
