Walking in the Supernatural

Glory to the King of kings!

Last week was amazing! As part of Kingdom Life's Training Days, our guest speaker Bengt Wedemalm spoke to us about Walking in the Supernatural. In 3 very powerful sessions we were instructed and inspired to exercise God's faith to overcome the world. You can listen to the sessions here...

On Sunday Gayle Claxton of Voice in the City spoke to us about personal leadership and how every believer is responsible to be a spiritual leader through desire, prayer and worship. You can listen to Gayle's powerful teaching here...

We are excited about whom God is connecting us to, to build with us and we are in awe of God's mandate for KLF in Frankfurt and Germany! Through God's revelation and grace, we are being equipped to have an influence on the Church and the people of Frankfurt and we are witnessing the Lord bring people from many, many nations to us to be revived to influence the nations. Glory to God!

This Sunday we will be meeting at our new venue for our Sunday meetings. We will be hosted by the Christliches Zentrum Frankfurt and will meet as usual from 3pm - 5pm. Please check here for directions to CZF. Our mid-week meetings are at various other venues so please check here for details.

Grace: The Key to the Supernatural!

Praise be to God!

On Tuesday last week we prayer-walked and worshipped God on the streets of Frankfurt and on Thursday our youth (IMPACT!) joined our two student placements to minister to the poor and needy on the streets and gave them something to eat, prayed for them and simply showed them the love of God. The Lord is blessing our youngsters and Friday's IMPACT! meeting was awesome as our student placements led the meeting and encouraged the guys to realise their identity in Christ. We then concluded the meeting listening to God and encouraging one another with prophetic words as we prayed for one another. Glory to God!

Yesterday we met in a different location to have our New Life Celebration. We praise God for the two planned baptisms and the one spontaneous baptism - the Lord spoke to a lady during the meeting about being baptised and we sensed that God was truly prompting her to be baptised there and then just like the account of Philip and the eunuch in Acts 8! Hallelujah!

The Lord spoke to us about the importance of having a spiritual revelation and understanding of His grace! He showed us that,
  1. Grace is the supernatural and undeserved endowment of God's love, wisdom and power into our lives. Rom. 5:5
  2. We need the Holy Spirit to reveal "what God has freely given us." 1 Cor. 2:12
  3. Stephen (not an apostle), who was full of the Holy Spirit, faith, wisdom, grace and power walked in the supernatural as he "did great wonders and miraculous signs"; had a face "like the face of an angel"; spoke with supernatural wisdom and saw into the supernatural realm of Heaven. Acts 6:3,5,8,15,7:56
  4. The key to releasing the supernatural is the spiritual understanding of God's grace.
  5. When we fully understand God's grace, we will produce supernatural fruit! Col. 1:6
  6. God wants us to stand in the river of grace in which we submit to God's righteousness and not in the river of conditional righteousness where we try to establish our own righteousness . Rom. 5:1,2; 10:3

Looking at Romans 9 we saw that by God's grace:
  1. We have become "objects of God's mercy." vs 23
  2. God is making "the riches of His glory" known to us. vs 23
  3. He prepared us in "advance for glory." vs 23
  4. He has "called us." vs 24
  5. We are "His people." vs 25
  6. We are God's "loved one." vs 25
  7. We are "sons of the living God." vs 26

We continue to rejoice in God's supernatural revelation to us so that we walk in the supernatural by faith! Hallelujah!

"It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery." Gal. 5:1

Releasing The Supernatural!

Glory to the God of miracles, signs and wonders!

The Lord is continuing to teach us to walk in the supernatural and yesterday He spoke to us about being released in it. The Lord showed us the following,

  1. God, who has chosen to make the Church His habitation, is a supernatural God and therefore His people are a supernatural people! Eph. 2:21,22; 3:20; 1 John 4:13
  2. The Church was birthed supernaturally with a manifestation of the supernatural! Acts 2:1-4; 10:44-46; 19:6
  3. The believer enters a supernatural life at conversion! John 3:3-8; Col. 1:13
  4. God wants to saturate the believer's spirit, soul (mind, heart and will) and body with His supernatural presence and power. Eph. 1:17,18; 3:16; 5:18; Rom. 8:9
  5. God wants us to eagerly desire the supernatural. 1 Cor. 14:1
  6. God wants us to try to excel in the supernatural. 1 Cor. 14:12
  7. God wants us to release the supernatural in our lives. Eph. 6:18

"Pray in the spirit on all occasions." Eph.6:18

The Lord then showed us how to pray in the Spirit in order to release the supernatural in our lives. Hallelujah! We will have this important foundational teaching in the teaching section of our website with the accompanying notes.

We praise God for releasing more and more of us into "spiritual things" (1 Cor. 12:1) as people are receiving words of knowledge, dreams, spiritual language, healing, spiritual revelation and are "filled to go!" Consequently our people are touching broken, lost and oppressed lives around them in the "market place" and on the streets of Frankfurt!

This week two students from Kingdom Faith College (Horsham, England) will be arriving to support Kingdom Life and be involved in the life of the church for four weeks. We praise God for our covenant relationship with Kingdom Faith and how we can bless and encourage one another to be equipped to reach our cities and nations for Christ!

On Saturday we will be joining other churches for a day of prayer and fasting as we seek God's face in repentance and prayer for our city! For more information check out, www.himmelueberfrankfurt.de

Walking in the Supernatural

God you are so awesome!

This past week has been incredible! On Tuesday evening we invited pastors and leaders from different churches in Frankfurt to join together for a time of worship and encouragement. Richard Maybery, our guest speaker from Cape Town, South Africa, spoke to us about building a supernatural church and ministered to us in the power of the Holy Spirit as we were encouraged and refreshed with the presence of God! God is connecting His church for His purposes in Frankfurt! Hallelujah!

We have been so immensely blessed through Richard Maybery during our KLF Revival Fire Training Days, as he has been equipping us to walk in the supernatural! Over 7 sessions Richard showed us the following:

  1. An introduction to walking in the supernatural
  2. Hunger to walk in the supernatural
  3. Positioning yourself for the supernatural
  4. Breaking through to the supernatural
  5. Developing supernatural eyesight
  6. Your vital link to the supernatural
  7. God's manifest presence

We praise God for showing us how to tap into the "immeasurably more than we can ask or imagine" (Eph. 3:20) according to His glorious riches!

Today the Lord filled the place with people who are hungry for His presence and power. Richard Maybery spoke to us about the "theology of strength in weakness" from 2 Corinthians 12:1-10 and many were mightily blessed as the Holy Spirit ministered to us in His intimate power. Thank you Lord!

Walking in the Spirit

You are amazing, Jesus!

As the Lord takes us to the deep part of the River of Revival (Ezekiel 47:5) He is showing us how to walk in the Spirit. We are learning that as born-again believers, born of God (John 3:3; 1 John 5:1), we are in this world but not of this world; we are in the body/flesh but not of the body/flesh (John 17:14-19; Gal. 2:20; 2Cor. 4:16-5:10; 1 Peter 1:13). Therefore, having been set free from the power and influence of the world, the flesh and the devil, the believer has the freedom to choose life or death; a life according to the flesh and the world or the Holy Spirit (Romans 8:5,12-14). The Lord is showing us that we need to do 3 things if we are to walk in the Spirit and grow in Him.

  1. Position. We need to position ourselves so that we are free to make right choices.
  2. Deny self. We need to recognise the will of self and the flesh and not give in to its desires.
  3. Follow. We need to discern the Holy Spirit's will and follow Him.

By exercising PDF (positioning oneself, denying self and following the Holy Spirit), we will practice the presence of God as we continuously fix our minds on what the Spirit desires. This abiding in the Spirit and learning to yield to Him helps the believer not only to grow in the Spirit but also to release the presence and power of God. Hallelujah!

Yesterday we had another wonderful opportunity to feed the poor and to bring the Kingdom of God into their lives. It is such a blessing to see people respond to God's presence and we are delighted that 2 more people gave their lives to Jesus yesterday and will be baptised at our next New Life Celebration on the 6 April! Glory to God!

We praise God for adding to our number but most of all we are thrilled with what God is doing in us and through us. He is truly taking us into the deep end in our worship and our walk with Him. Thank you Lord!

Quote of the week:

"This practice of the Presence of God is somewhat hard at the outset, yet pursued faithfully, it works imperceptibly within the soul most marvellous effects; it draws down God's grace abundantly, and leads the soul insensibly to the ever-present vision of God, loving and beloved, which is the most spiritual and most real, the most free and most life-giving manner of prayer." Brother Lawrence
