Mike Vickers

Glory to the King of kings!

We've had a brilliant time with Mike Vickers who has inspired and helped us to break through into greater faith and boldness to pioneer God's work to build His Kingdom here in Frankfurt. Mike will be walking with a cross from Frankfurt to Berlin in July and KLF has the privilege of being part of this powerful and prophetic journey across Germany. Judging from the anointing upon Mike's visit this past weekend and the fruit of God's work through him, we are looking forward to seeing what God is going to do on this year's Germany cross-walk.

Yesterday the Lord spoke to us, as a church, about being like Jonathan. Looking at 1 Sam. 14:1-23, God spoke very clearly to us about taking the front line and pioneering His Kingdom work to take the city of Frankfurt for His glory. We were greatly encouraged and many responded to God's call to take up our responsibility to rebuild, renew and restore our city! Hallelujah!

We praise God for continuing to reveal His redeeming heart to us and for strengthening our faith so that we go forth with boldness and confidence into the darkness to fulfill His will and purpose for the Church for the praise of His glory (Eph. 1:11,12; 3:10-12).

Quote of the week:

"Nothing can hinder the Lord from saving, whether by many or by few." 1 Sam. 14:6

Redemption

Praise be to God!

The Lord is giving us greater depth of insight into His vision for KLF this year and beyond. Meditating on Isaiah 61:1-3, He is showing us the true nature of His redemptive purposes which the Father fulfilled in Christ (Mark 10:45) and has anointed the Church to continue (Acts 1:8; 2:3). Jesus, the Anointed One, not only paid the price by dying on the cross to redeem mankind from slavery to the kingdom of darkness, but His whole life was redemptive. As Jesus walked on this earth, He lived to reveal the Father's redeeming heart (John 13:14-17; Acts 10:38). All Christ's words and actions were a revelation of the Father's heart to bring man back to the Father and to bring mankind into fullness of life. Jesus demonstrated a redemptive life by laying down His life for others to come into fullness of life. Likewise the Church has been anointed to live redemptively by laying down her life for others in order to bring them into fullness of life (2 Cor. 5:20,21; 1 John 3:16).

The Church has been anointed to be redemptive!

The Father showed us that it is only as the Church receives revelation of His passion to redeem man to Himself that she will live redemptively and reveal His heart as Jesus did.

This week we are looking forward to having Mike Vickers with us who has a powerful ministry walking across nations with a cross, impacting countries with God's presence and sharing God's love with those he encounters on the way. For testimonies about his ministry click here...

Quote of the week:
"All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation." 2 Cor. 5:18
