Connecting

Glory to the Sovereign Lord!

Last week Thursday, Suzette Hattingh (Voice in the City) organised a prayer meeting for the Church in Frankfurt to join together in prayer for our city. The meeting was very powerful and many church leaders attended and voiced their concern for not honouring one another which led to a time of genuine reconciliation and forgiveness between the German leaders and the international leaders. The spirit of unity was tangible and we believe this was a prophetic statement of what God is doing in our city and in this nation. Hallelujah!

Yesterday the Lord spoke to us about how we need to respond to the vision He has given us as a church. He showed us that when He speaks to us we have a choice as to how we respond to Him. Basically there are 3 attitudes we can have:

  • Attitude #1: I know better - this person is above the Word. He judges the Word, is self-righteous and usually ignores the Word or revelation given to him.
  • Attitude #2: I know it already - this person is on the same level as the Word. He has a "familiar spirit," thinking he knows everything already and therefore relates God's Word only to what he already thinks he knows.
  • Attitude #3: I want to know - this person comes under the Word. He understands that he only "knows in part" and that when God speaks to him, the Spirit of God wants to reveal "the deep things of God" to him that are only revealed to those who submit to God's Word.
  • The apostle Paul had the attitude of "I want to know." Phil. 3:10
  • Paul wanted a greater revelation of Jesus and the Lord's purpose for him. Phil. 3:7-14
  • Paul lived to know Christ more and "to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of (him)." Phil. 3:10, 12
  • Paul received a revelation of the person of Jesus, the purpose of Jesus for Paul and the passion of Jesus for mankind. Acts 26:15-18
We need revelation of the person of Jesus to receive revelation of His passion which will compel us to fulfill the revelation of His purpose for us to redeem mankind.

The vision God has given us is based on these 3 principles:
  • We need revelation of who God is - His person: the "Sovereign Lord" Is. 61:1
  • We need revelation of God's purpose for KLF: "anointed...to..." Is. 61:1-3
  • We need revelation of God's passion for mankind: "...to bind up..to proclaim freedom..to release..to comfort..to provide..to bestow.." Is. 61:3
This week we are staring our Life Groups which form an essential part of a growing church. They help us connect with one another so that as we pursue the Kingdom Life together, we form genuine relationships, we care for one another, we grow together and we influence the lives of others. KLF has Life Groups that meet at various homes during the week in and around Frankfurt. For more information contact Alexander: lifegroups@kingdomlife-frankfurt.com

On Saturday we are having a joint men's prayer breakfast when the men of KLF will be getting together with the men of two other churches for breakfast, fellowship, teaching and prayer.

Quote of the week:

"I was not disobedient to the vision from heaven." Acts 26:19

KLF Training Days

"To him who sits on the throne and to the Lamb be praise and honour and glory and power for ever and ever!" Rev. 5:13

This past weekend KLF had the privilege of having Mike and Kay Chance as guest speakers at our KLF Training Days. These Training Days are designed to equip the saints by being anchored in God's Truth! Over 3 days we explored the Book of Revelation and received insight into God's plan for these Last Days and what is to come. Mike and Kay are anointed teachers of God's Truth and are instrumental in bringing God's Word to the Body of Christ both in Germany and in England where they are regular speakers at Kingdom Faith College in Horsham. We are excited about the Christ-exalting message they brought this weekend that has led us into a greater revelation of Christ's majesty and authority! The teaching sessions will be available here...

Yesterday evening we had another opportunity to share God's love with the homeless and needy at our monthly homeless mission. It is always exciting to bring the lost into God's presence and watch the Holy Spirit do His work amongst them. We are seeing more and more people begin to trust us and give us permission to speak into their lives to bring healing and hope in often desperate situations. Glory to God!

Quote of the week:

"Hallelujah! For our Lord God Almighty reigns. Let us rejoice and be glad and give him glory! For the wedding of the Lamb has come, and his bride has made herself ready. Fine linen, bright and clean was given her to wear." Rev. 19:6-8

Unpacking God's Gift

"Thanks be to God for his indescribable gift" 2 Cor. 9:15

The Lord is continuing to reveal the truth of His grace to us, and yesterday He showed us the following:

  • In Christ the believer has received grace upon grace. John 1:16
  • In Christ the believer has received fullness of life. John 10:10; Col. 2:10
  • In Christ the believer has received every spiritual blessing in the heavenly realm. Eph. 1:3
  • God wants the believer to walk in the fullness s/he has received, now. 2 Cor. 6:1,2
  • God wants the believer to walk in His fullness so that s/he will minister His grace to others.
  • God has given the believer His Spirit so that s/he will understand what s/he has freely received. 1 Cor. 2:12
  • The fruitfulness of the gospel depends on the revelation the believer has of God's grace! Col.1:6
  • What the believer has freely received, s/he is to freely give as a minister of God's grace. Mt. 10:8; 1 Cor. 11:23; Acts 3:6; 1 Peter 4:10,11
  • God has made the believer competent as a minister of His Spirit and grace. 2 Cor. 3:6
  • For the believer to be an effective minister of God's grace, s/he must believe s/he has received and s/he must humble him/herself for grace to abound. God gives grace to the humble. James 4:6

Faith and humility are the keys to overflowing with God's grace.

  • Humility "has no confidence in the flesh." Phil. 3:3
  • Humility is confidence in God and no confidence in self apart from God. John 5:19; Phil. 4:13

In response to God's amazing revelation, we spent time ministering God's grace to one another in His power and in the confidence that He is able to make all grace abound to us (2 Cor. 9:8). Hallelujah!

Some highlights of the week have been the start of our study in the Letter to the Hebrews at our Tuesday Bible study; our worship team supporting Voice in the City at their Arise Shine! meeting on Saturday and hearing the testimonies of lives being changed by God's grace in the church and outside the church. Hallelujah!

This weekend we will have our KLF Training days with Mike and Kay Chance. Check here for details...

Quote of the week:

"Each one should use whatever gift he has received to serve others, faithfully administering God's grace in its various forms." 1 Peter 4:10

Receiving the Truth!

Praise be to God!

Since the Church has received Christ Jesus as Lord, God wants the Church to continue to live In Christ and be rooted, built up and established in Him (Col. 2:6). For the Church to realise the truth of her identity in Christ, she must have a conviction of the truth and realise the truth in order to demonstrate the truth. Only if the Church carries the conviction of being in Christ, will she rise up and be seated in the place of authority and power that she has received in Christ (Eph. 1:18-23; Col. 2:6 - 3:4)! Kingdom conviction is the faith that realises, reveals and releases the Truth. The Lord then showed us how the believer can receive Kingdom convictions. This is what He showed us:

Hear!
  • The believer needs to be exposed to the truth for it to influence him/her. Rom. 10:17

Receive!
  • The believer needs to receive the truth by first trusting it, even if s/he does not understand it.
  • To trust the truth is to submit to it.
  • To receive the truth is to be vulnerable and allow God's truth to do whatever He desires in one's life.
  • The believer must learn to receive the truth in His spirit before it is filtered by the natural mind.
  • Spiritual revelation of the truth is received in the spirit and then in the heart and mind. 1 Cor. 2:14

Search!
  • Once the truth is received, the believer needs to "search the scriptures" to ensure that there are two to three witnesses of the truth. Acts 17:11

Speak!
  • God created by speaking. Gen. 1:3; John 1:1-3
  • For Kingdom convictions to be formed or birthed in the believer, s/he must speak the truth over her life.
  • The believer's utterance has the power to create. Pr. 18:21

Dwell!
  • The believer must dwell on the truth and allow the truth to dwell in him/her. John 15:7; Ps. 119:11

Understand!
  • The believer must receive spiritual understanding of the truth for it to become a conviction that bears fruit. Mt. 13:11,23
  • The believer must depend on the Holy Spirit for spiritual understanding of the truth. John 16:12,13; 1 John 2:27

Apply!
  • If the believer has received the truth and understands the truth it will become a conviction that will determine his/her way of life (culture).
  • Convictions are only convictions when they affect the believer's lifestyle. Conviction without action is only an opinion!

We praise God for revealing His Truth to us so that Kingdom convictions are formed in our lives that determine our way of life to form Kingdom culture.

Quote of the week:

"The one who received the seed that fell on good soil is the man who hears the word and understands it. He produces a crop, yielding a hundred, sixty or thirty times what was sown." Matthew 13:23

Changing the culture

Glory to the King of kings!

It has been another awesome week with God! The Lord is imparting more and more spiritual revelation to us in our meetings and we are excited about our King and His Kingdom and the life-changing truth He is making known to us by His Spirit!

On Tuesdays we meet for Bible study and prayer and at present are studying the letter to the Romans and receiving powerful insight into God's Word. At our weekly prayer meeting, the Lord is showing us how to use His Word to worship Him and how to pray over our own lives and intercede for one another as well as the Church, the city and whatever else the Holy Spirit leads us to pray over!

The women and the men meet on Thursdays and Fridays respectively and have wonderful times of fellowship with God and one another. The youth (IMPACT!) meet on Saturdays at Subzone in central Frankfurt and are influencing the city with their presence and joy!

Yesterday the Lord continued to speak to us about Kingdom Culture and this is what He showed us:

  • Culture is a way of life that is determined by what influences you and the convictions you have.
  • Influence is what we allow to flow into our lives that affects us.
  • Convictions are the unshakable, compelling and conquering beliefs we have that affect our way of life.
  • There are 3 approaches to living in a foreign culture:
  1. Cultural Chameleons: someone who is able to adapt and conform to whatever culture they find themselves in. This person simply allows the culture they're in to influence them so that they become one with the culture.
  2. Cultural Cliques: someone who joins others of the same culture and isolates him/herself with them to form a seperate culture within the culture they are living in.
  3. Cultural Conquerors: someone who influences and changes the culture in which s/he lives because of the unshakable, compelling and conquering convictions s/he has.
Looking at 1 Thess. 1:3-10 we saw that the Thessalonians were cultural conquerors because of the unshakable (1:6), compelling (1:3) and conquering (1:8,9) convictions (1:5) they received by the Holy Spirit.

Kingdom culture is a way of life that is determined by Kingdom influence and Kingdom convictions!

We praise God that He has given us everything we need to live Kingdom culture and to conquer the kingdom of darkness with Kingdom convictions. Hallelujah!

Yesterday evening we had another wonderful opportunity to put our convictions into action as we ministered to the poor and needy with God's love. Many came and entered into Kingdom Culture as we served them and fed them and simply enjoyed God's presence and love together with them.

Quote of the week:

"Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind." Romans 12:2 (emphasis mine)

Touching the nations

Praise be the God!

This past week was wonderful. The Lord is continuing to bless us with spiritual revelation, wisdom and knowledge to know Him more and we are seeing people being set free by the Truth! Hallelujah!

Yesterday we had the privilege of having pastors Joseph and Geetha Komanapalli visit KLF. The Lord is doing a wonderful work through this godly couple in India where they are ministering to the poorest of the poor on the south- eastern coast of India in the area of Andhra Pradesh. Their work supported by Hermon Living Waters Ministries is exstensive and we are blessed to be able to contribute both financially and practically to this anointed ministry. To find out more about HLWM and the Komanapallis, click here.

Pastor Geetha brought God's Word and the Lord spoke to us about living a life of faith. In particular the Lord addressed our need to identify temptation and sin that seek to undermine and weaken our faith. We were encouraged to take hold of God's promises and walk in them!

We praise God for the way He is continuously encouraging us to stand firm in our faith as we possess His promises, dwell in them and stand firm in them.

This Friday and Saturday we will be having our KLF Training Days with Bengt Wedemalm and we are expecting to break through into deeper levels of faith that will release even more miracles, signs and wonders in KLF, Frankfurt and across the globe! God is able to do exceedingly abundantly more than we can possibly ask or think according to his power that is at work within us! Hallelujah! For more information on this weekend click here.

This Sunday Gayle Claxton of Voice in the City will be ministering to KLF and we are looking forward to another Spirit-filled encounter with God and one another! For more information on Gayle and Voice in the City click here.

We praise God for all the awesome things He is doing in us and through us and we are continuing to prepare for greater things as we expand our territory in the natural in anticipation of both numerical growth and spiritual growth. Our move to CZF on the 31st of this month is significant and we believe that this move is a move into new beginnings as we enter into the next season of God's work with us and through us. Glory to the King of kings! For more information on the move click here.

Quote of the week:

"I tell you the truth, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there' and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.'" Matthew 17:20

A people of the Word

Glory to the King of kings!

This past week the Lord has been revealing more to us about His Word - both His prophetic Word as well as his written Word. Yesterday the Lord spoke to us about how we need to be a people not only IN the Word but also OF the word! This is what He showed us:

God has placed certain conditions for our prayers to be answered:
  • We must remain in Him (John 15:7)
  • Jesus' words must remain in us (John 15:7)
  • We must produce fruit that will last (John 15:16)
  • Our hearts must not condemn us (1 John 3:21)
  • We must obey God and do what pleases Him (1 John 3:22)
  • We must pray according to his will (1 John 5:14)

The Lord then showed us what it means for the Word to remain in us:

  • To remain is to abide, dwell, live etc. (Col.3:16)
  • The Word is not a formula that is to remain in the mind but rather is to be a revelation that is to remain in the heart (Mat.13:15)
  • We need to understand the Word by the Spirit in the heart (1 Cor.2:9-14)
  • The "knowledge of the secrets of the kingdom of heaven" is received through spiritual revelation (Mat.13:11, 1 Cor.2:12)

In order to receive spiritual revelation and understanding we must have "a good and noble heart" (Luke 8:15) which means we need to have:

  1. A clean heart (Ps.66:18,19)
  2. A believing heart that trusts the Word (Rom.4:20,21)
  3. An objective heart that receives the Word as it is (John 17:8)
  4. A teachable heart that allows God to change us (Mat.13:15)
  5. A submissive heart that comes under the authority of the Word and obeys it (2 Tim.3:16)

  • Obedience is the key to releasing spiritual revelation, understanding, knowledge and wisdom! (Mat.13:8,12,23)
  • When we obey God's Word we are set apart so that we are of the Word and not of the world (John 17:14-18)
  • Just as "the Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us" so are we to be a revelation of the Living Word in us (John 1:14)
  • The believer is in the world but not of the world as he is in the Word and of the Word!

It is when the Word is understood in the heart by the Spirit and obeyed that the Word remains in the heart and the believer becomes a person of the Word.

We praise God for His revelation to us and showing us how to become a people powerful in prayer. Yesterday evening we had another wonderful opportunity to bless the poor and needy at our monthly homeless mission. The Lord glorified His name as He touched people's lives with His healing power as we prayed for them and shared God's Word with them. Hallelujah! God always proves His Word!

Quote of the week:

"If you remain in me and my word remains in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be given you. This is to my Father's glory, that you bear much fruit, showing yourselves to be my disciples." John 15:7,8

Honouring God with overflowing grace!

Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ. Hallelujah!

Last week was very exciting as we began meeting at the IBTC for our weekly prayer meeting and women's meeting. The Lord is establishing KLF and we now have meetings for everyone to know God and to be equipped to make Him known!

On Saturday a group of us met from different churches in Frankfurt to distribute a Gospel Brochure to every household in the suburb of Frankfurt-Hausen. In the next weeks we will return to the households and seek to speak to the people about what they have received. This project called Mission2Go was successfully used of the Lord in London where thousands of people were reached with the good news. The vision is to reach every home in Frankfurt with the Gospel!

Yesterday's meeting was awesome as God blessed us with His presence and a greater revelation of Himself through the worship and the word. The Lord is speaking to us about honouring Him and yesterday He showed us what it means to be a minister of the Spirit and how to honour Him by overflowing with His grace. Looking at 2 Cor. 3:1-18, the Lord revealed the following to us:

  • The Old Covenant is about following instructions to be like God.
  • The New Covenant is about being filled with God to reveal Him.
  • We have received the fullness of God in Christ to be ministers of His Spirit and not ministers of "instructions." (3:6)
  • We are adopted children of God who are filled with Him to reveal His glory! (3:18)
  • We are to be a revelation of the Living Word! (3:18)

The Lord then showed us that,

  • We honour God when we believe we have received and deny self to live for Him. Rom. 12:1
  • Ministers of the Spirit overflow with the gift of God. 2 Cor. 9:11-15
  • We can only overflow if we are filled with the revelation of what we have received in Christ from God! 2 Cor. 1:3-5; Eph.5:18

"By the grace of God I am what I am" 1 Cor. 15:10

We praise God for revealing Himself to us so that we can reveal Him as we deny self and overflow with Him.

Quote of the week (King David had a revelation of God's righteousness, faithfulness, salvation, love and truth and was determined not to veil Him but to reveal Him):

"I desire to do your will O my God; your law is within my heart. I proclaim righteousness in the great assembly; I do not seal my lips, as you know, O Lord. I do not hide your righteousness in my heart; I speak of your faithfulness and salvation. I do not conceal your love and your truth from the great assembly." Psalm 40:8-10 (emphasis mine)

Honouring God

"Amen! Praise and glory and wisdom and thanks and honour and power and strength be to our God for ever and ever. Amen!"

We've had an awesome week! We're continuing to meet on Tuesday evenings with other believers to worship the Lord and prayer walk on the streets of Frankfurt. We're experiencing an ever increasing stirring in the spirit realm that is both releasing God's presence as well as manifesting resistance which is a clear indication that the Kingdom of God is advancing! Hallelujah!

The Lord's favour is upon the men of KLF as we meet on Fridays for breakfast, encouragement and prayer. God is speaking very clearly to the men and we are sensing the Lord establishing us for greater things to come. We believe that God the Father is raising up sons who will be released to be the spiritual fathers He has called us to be in the family, church, city and nation!

This weekend we were visited by two leaders from Kingdom Faith (Horsham, England) who came to continue to establish our covenant relationship with Kingdom Faith. Pastor Jonathon Dyke and Pastor Gary Rumbold spent time with the leadership of KLF as well as the church to build, encourage and release us into new realms with the Holy Spirit. We are excited about relating to Kingdom Faith and benefiting from what God is doing in His Body in that nation.

Yesterday's meeting was very interesting as we began to explore some of the new things that God was showing us over the weekend. The Lord then spoke to us about what it means to glorify Him and showed us the following:
  1. To glorify God is to honour God and the Lord wants us to be as zealous as He is about His honour! Numbers 25:10-13
  2. To honour God is to reflect in the natural what we believe we have received in the spiritual! Rom. 15:26,27
  3. We cannot change self to become more like God because it has been crucified and is dead! Gal. 2:20
  4. We can only reflect God if we reflect on Him and not on self! 2 Cor. 3:7-18
  5. In order to become a revelation of God, we need a personal, spiritual revelation of Him!

We praise God for continuing to reveal Himself to us through His Spirit and His Word!

Next week KLF will be meeting in the building of the Baptist church in Eschersheim from 3pm - 5pm!

Quote of the week:

"And we, who with unveiled faces all reflect the Lord's glory, are being transformed into his likeness with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit." 2 Cor. 3:18

To Know And To Make Known!

Glory to the God of all creation!

We praise God for the "depth of insight" He is giving us into the "unsearchable riches of Christ" by His Spirit (Eph. 3:4,5,8). God is giving us revelation so that we become a revelation to the world!

Yesterday the Lord showed us the following:

  1. There are two worlds - the physical and the spiritual; the natural and the supernatural; the visible and the invisible.
  2. The physical, natural, visible world proceeds from the spiritual, supernatural, invisible. Gen.1:1
  3. The physical, natural, visible points to the spiritual, supernatural, invisible! Rom. 1:20

"For since the creation of the world God's invisible qualities - his eternal power and divine nature - have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that men are without excuse." Rom. 1:20

  1. God not only revealed His supernatural being through creation but also through His Son, who is the exact representation of God's invisible being. Col. 1:15-20; Heb. 1:3
  2. Jesus came to make the Father known. John 1:14; 14:9-11; 17:6,26
  3. Jesus revealed God's nature - God's love, compassion, kindness, zeal, etc
  4. Jesus revealed God's authority - Jesus taught with authority and exercised God's authority over creation.
  5. Jesus revealed God's power - Jesus healed the sick and raised the dead.

The Lord then showed us that,

  1. Just as Jesus knew the Father and came to make Him known, we are called to know God and make Him known!
  2. God revealed Himself to Paul so that Paul would make Him known. Eph. 3:2-11
  3. God reveals Himself to the Church by His Spirit so that the Church will make Him known to all creation - both seen and unseen! Eph. 3:10
  4. God has predestined the believer to be conformed to the image of His Son who is the exact representation of the invisible God! Rom. 8:29,30
  5. The believer is called to make God's nature known. Eph. 4:22,23; Col. 3:9
  6. The believer is called to make God's authority known. Col. 2:9
  7. The believer is called to make God's power known. Eph.2:10; John 15

As the believer comes to know God through spiritual revelation, His life will point to God as He makes God's nature, authority and power known to the world.

We live to know and to make known!

The podcast for yesterday's sermon will be available in the first week of August.

Next weekend most of Kingdom Life will be attending Faith Camp in Peterborough, England. It will be a dynamic time of meeting with God and spending valuable time together. KLF will therefore not be meeting on the 27 July and the 3 August and will resume meetings on the 10 August!

Quote of the week:

"You were taught...to put on the new self, created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness." Eph. 4:22-24

Grace: The Key to the Supernatural!

Praise be to God!

On Tuesday last week we prayer-walked and worshipped God on the streets of Frankfurt and on Thursday our youth (IMPACT!) joined our two student placements to minister to the poor and needy on the streets and gave them something to eat, prayed for them and simply showed them the love of God. The Lord is blessing our youngsters and Friday's IMPACT! meeting was awesome as our student placements led the meeting and encouraged the guys to realise their identity in Christ. We then concluded the meeting listening to God and encouraging one another with prophetic words as we prayed for one another. Glory to God!

Yesterday we met in a different location to have our New Life Celebration. We praise God for the two planned baptisms and the one spontaneous baptism - the Lord spoke to a lady during the meeting about being baptised and we sensed that God was truly prompting her to be baptised there and then just like the account of Philip and the eunuch in Acts 8! Hallelujah!

The Lord spoke to us about the importance of having a spiritual revelation and understanding of His grace! He showed us that,
  1. Grace is the supernatural and undeserved endowment of God's love, wisdom and power into our lives. Rom. 5:5
  2. We need the Holy Spirit to reveal "what God has freely given us." 1 Cor. 2:12
  3. Stephen (not an apostle), who was full of the Holy Spirit, faith, wisdom, grace and power walked in the supernatural as he "did great wonders and miraculous signs"; had a face "like the face of an angel"; spoke with supernatural wisdom and saw into the supernatural realm of Heaven. Acts 6:3,5,8,15,7:56
  4. The key to releasing the supernatural is the spiritual understanding of God's grace.
  5. When we fully understand God's grace, we will produce supernatural fruit! Col. 1:6
  6. God wants us to stand in the river of grace in which we submit to God's righteousness and not in the river of conditional righteousness where we try to establish our own righteousness . Rom. 5:1,2; 10:3

Looking at Romans 9 we saw that by God's grace:
  1. We have become "objects of God's mercy." vs 23
  2. God is making "the riches of His glory" known to us. vs 23
  3. He prepared us in "advance for glory." vs 23
  4. He has "called us." vs 24
  5. We are "His people." vs 25
  6. We are God's "loved one." vs 25
  7. We are "sons of the living God." vs 26

We continue to rejoice in God's supernatural revelation to us so that we walk in the supernatural by faith! Hallelujah!

Quote of the week:

"It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery." Gal. 5:1

Building A Supernatural Church!

Praise God!

This past week has been another exciting adventure with God as He is revealing more and more of His glory in our meetings. Yesterday's encounter with God was another confirmation of what He is saying to us concerning His purpose for Kingdom Life. Richard Maybery gave us the following prophecy during his visit two weeks ago:

“I saw a kingly crown coming down from heaven and landing in the front. The King of glory has come down among you and He has anointed this church plant with His power and His kingly presence. This church has the stamp of kingly royalty upon it and it has kingly royalty that will attract the people that he has predestined for this church and it is His kingly royalty that will replace the rags of filth and rags of brokenness with robes of righteousness and healing!”

Abba, Father is releasing us to be the supernatural church He has made us to be in accordance with His "pleasure and will" (Eph.1:5); "the riches of God's grace" (Eph.1:7) and "the plan of Him who works out everything in conformity with the purpose of his will" (Eph.1:11). Hallelujah!

For us to realise our identity and purpose as God's supernatural people, we need spiritual wisdom and revelation and our hearts to be enlightened (Eph. 1:17,18). Then we will,

  • know God better (Eph.1:17)
  • know the hope to which he has called us (Eph.1:18)
  • know the riches of the glorious inheritance in the saints (Eph.1:18)
  • know his power for us who believe (Eph.1:19)

The Lord showed us from Ephesians 1:19-23 that,

  • God's power is incomparable
  • God's power is His mighty strength
  • God's power raised Jesus to the heavenly realm
  • God's power gave Jesus authority over every authority, rule and dominion now!
  • God's power gave Jesus the highest title
  • God's power placed all things under Jesus' feet

This awesome power is at work in those who believe and is able to do immeasurably more than we can ask or imagine as we release it by faith! It is according to the power that is within us that God wants to align the natural according to the supernatural and bring His Kingdom on earth as it is in Heaven! Glory to God!

We praise God for wonderful testimonies of people being saved and healed. Yesterday one of our people testified to being healed of neck pain due to a deformity that she had had caused by polio! God is giving us words of knowledge, spiritual revelation and wonderful encounters with Him during the worship, the preaching of the Word, ministry and prayer. Thank you Father!

We give the Lord all the glory and the praise for blessing us with the riches of His grace!

Quote of the week:

"Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we can ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen." Ephesians 3:20,21

The Triumph of the Cross!

Glory to the Living One; the One who was dead but behold is alive for ever and ever! Rev. 1:18

We praise God for a truly amazing weekend as we celebrated Christ's victory and triumph on the cross on Friday and His glorious resurrection on Sunday! Both meetings were very powerful as the Lord spoke to us about the significance of the cross and how His resurrection is a confirmation of the truth of who He is and the words He has spoken. The Lord reminded us that the cross has set the believer free!

"It is for freedom that Christ has set us free!" Gal. 5:1

  1. The believer is set free from the law. Rom. 6:14; 7:4
  2. The believer is set free from the power of the flesh and sin. Rom. 6:6
  3. The believer is set free from the power of the world. 1 John 5:4
  4. The believer is set free from the power of satan. Luke 10:19
  5. The believer is therefore set free from the bondage of satan in his,
  • body - Acts 10:36; 1 Peter 2:24
  • soul - 2 Cor, 4:4 (mind); 2 Tim. 1:7 (heart); Eph. 2:1-3 (will)
  • spirit - Eph. 2:1

Not only that! Christ has set us free to reign through Him! We have been reconciled to reign!

Those who receive God's abundant provision of grace and of the gift of righteousness reign in life through Jesus Christ! Rom. 5:17

On Sunday the Lord spoke to us about having faith in Him and His words alone. He showed us that He always confirms His word and that the greatest proof of His faithfulness to His word is the resurrection. Looking at Luke 24, we saw how God expects us to have faith in His word and not to doubt!

  1. The angels "rebuked" the women at the tomb for looking "for the living among the dead" when Jesus had clearly told them that He would rise from the dead. Luke 24:5-8
  2. Jesus "rebuked" the disciples on the road to Emmaus for not believing God's words. Luke 24:25
  3. Jesus reminded the disciples about what He had told them. Luke 24:44

The Lord also reminded us that we need to seek His revelation as we trust in His Word. Luke 24:27, 32, 45; 1 Cor. 2:12

We also experienced great freedom in worship on Sunday and were blessed with God's presence and a powerful sense of His pleasure as we worshipped Him! We praise God for the prophetic words and songs He is giving us that encourage us and enable us to press in even closer to Him. Thank you Lord!

Next week a few of us will be travelling to England to attend the Kingdom Faith leaders' conference and look forward to a dynamic time with our church family there.

Quote of the week:

"Since Christ was raised from the dead, he cannot die again; death no longer has mastery over him. The death he died, he died to sin once for all; but the life he lives, he lives to God." Romans 6:9,10

Fellowship with Abba, Father

Praise be to Abba, Father!

This past week has been another exciting time with the Lord! The Spirit of revelation (Eph. 1:17) is upon us and the Lord is revealing more and more of Himself to us in our meetings. Hallelujah!

At our weekly prayer meeting on Tuesday, the Lord spoke to us about His Kingdom and how KLF is the yeast of His Kingdom that is precious and is influencing the Body (Matthew 13:33, 44, 45).

On Wednesday morning, at the women's meeting at Star Bucks, the Lord spoke to the women about how His glory is in His face and that we need to seek His face to see His glory! The week before, the Lord revealed more about "gates" and how His Kingdom people are gates to God's Kingdom! We praise God for revelation and the privilege of being able to feast on His Word and being taught by the Holy Spirit (1 John 2:27)!

Friday's IMPACT! meeting was very exciting as KLF's youth got together to meet with God and one another. We had a profound time exploring the significance of the "keys to the Kingdom" and how God has given His children the keys to bind and loose in order to manifest the Kingdom on earth as it is in heaven (Matthew 16:17-19)!

Yesterday's meeting was very powerful once again. The Lord is speaking to us about abiding in Him and we have seen that to have eternal life is to know God. To know God is to have fellowship with the Father and the Son. To have fellowship with Him is to abide in Him and He in us. As we grow in our knowledge of God through spiritual revelation, the Lord is revealing Himself to us as true royalty (see last week) but particularly as Abba, Father. So, yesterday the Lord was showing us the following:

When we believe in Jesus,

  • we are born again and become children of God. 1 John 3:1
  • we have a right to be called children of God based on what God has done for us. John 1:12
  • we receive the Spirit of sonship by which we call God our Abba, Father. Gal. 4:4-7; Rom. 8:14-17

The reason the Lord wants us to know Him as Abba, Father is the following:

  1. The Lord wants us to grow in intimacy with Him as we come to know Him both as Abba (Daddy) and Father.
  2. The Lord is exposing the Devil's plot to destroy God's image in man as Creator and Father.
  3. The Lord wants to restore natural fatherhood in this fatherless generation to reveal true spiritual Fatherhood.
  4. The Lord wants us to recognise that what we sow in the natural we will reap in the spiritual. Therefore our attitude toward our earthly father reflects our attitude toward our heavenly Father.
  5. The Lord wants to restore the true image of Fatherhood so that His children can reveal Abba, Father to the world.

The Lord then showed us something very profound and exciting. Looking at Numbers 21:8,9 and John 3:14, Abba, Father revealed the following:

  1. The Israelites were disobedient and consequently received the punishment they deserved. Numbers 21:4-7
  2. Moses prayed for the Israelites. 21:7
  3. The Lord did not remove the snakes!
  4. The Lord made provision for the healing of the Israelites by making a bronze snake that was to be raised upon a pole so that anyone who looked at the bronze snake would be healed. 21:89
  5. Consequently, that which was distorted in the natural was restored in the spiritual by looking at perfection.
  6. Jesus reveals in John 3:14 that this incident is a shadow of God's purpose in Christ's death and resurrection!
  7. Whoever looks at perfect Life, the Son, will be healed of that which has poisoned one's life.
  8. Similarly, the Lord was showing us that as we behold Abba, Father, we will be healed of the consequences of distorted and poisoned fatherhood (abuse, rejection, absent father etc).

What is exciting about this revelation is that it confirms that it is as we worship God and fix our eyes on Him that we are healed. It is Abba, Father's way of healing His children. Glory to Him.

Quote of the week:

"Both Scripture and experience teach that it is we, not God, who determine the degree of intimacy with Him that we enjoy. We are at this moment as close to God as we really choose to be. True, there are times when we would like to know a deeper intimacy, but when it comes to the point, we are not prepared to pay the price involved. The qualifying conditions are more stringent and exacting than we are prepared to meet; so we settle for a less demanding level of Christian living." J. Oswald Sanders

Abiding in the Light

Glory to God!

Sunday's meeting was awesome! Words cannot describe God's presence! The Lord is teaching us to abide in Him and showing us that in order to know Him, we need to receive spiritual revelation (1 Cor. 2:10-14; Eph. 1:17). We saw that the apostle Paul lived out of revelation (Gal. 1:11,12; 2:2; 1 Cor. 11:23; 14:6; 2 Cor. 12:7) and that revelation is received through Jesus (Luke 2:32; 2 Cor. 4:6).

To receive revelation is to receive light so that we can know the Father and the Son. From Hebrews 6:4-7 we learned that to be enlightened is:

  • to taste the heavenly gift of eternal Life
  • to share in the Holy Spirit
  • to taste the goodness of the Word of God
  • to taste the powers of the coming age

We also learned that to abide in God is to abide in His Light (1 John 1:1 - 2:11) and to continuously drink from Him (Heb.6:7; Psalm 36:6-9).

The Father also revealed to us that He wants to draw us into His bosom; a place of closest possible intimacy and rest (Gen. 16:5; John 1:18 - KJV).

Following communion, we entered into a time of worship as we focused completely on adoring our King. As we worshipped, God entered and His presence was heavily upon us. As we closed the meeting, two people testified to being healed during the meeting! Glory to God!

The Lord wants us to continuously abide in His presence so that His presence is always with us, thereby making Himself known to the nations through His holy people (Ezek. 36:23). Hallelujah!

On Sunday evening we joined TPL to minister to the poor and needy. We praise God for lives that are being touched and the relationships that are being formed.

Quote of the week:

"For God, who said, 'Let light shine out of darkness,' made his light shine in our hearts to give us the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Christ." 2 Corinthians 4:6

Abiding in the River!

Praise the Lord!

Yesterday's meeting was an awesome start to the new year! We are being blessed with the Lord's presence as He reveals more and more of Himself to us in worship and in the Word.

The Lord is speaking to us about the River of Revival and how we are to abide in the River of Life! To do so, the Lord showed us the following:

1. Eternal life is to know God.

"Now this is eternal life: that they may know you, the only true God and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent." John 17:3

Eternal life is not some THING the Christian possesses that he can lose, but a relationship with God!

2. To know God is to have fellowship with the Father and the Son.

"..truly our fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ." 1 John 1:3

There are 3 kinds of fellowship:

  • Physical fellowship
  • Soulish fellowship
  • Spiritual fellowship

The soulish Christian has a conditional relationship with God that is dependent on the individual's subjective understanding, feelings and desires (self).

The spiritual Christian has an unconditional relationship with God that is based on God's revelation of Himself to the individual. (Matthew 16:15-17; Ephesians 1:17)

3. To have spiritual fellowship with God is to abide in Him.

"Abide in me and I in you." John 15:4

Therefore, eternal life is to know God. To know God is to have spiritual fellowship with Him. To have spiritual fellowship with God is to abide in Him and He in us.

We are looking forward to an exciting year in which the Lord has told us that He will establish Kingdom Life! Hallelujah!

This week we will resume our regular meetings and will be joining Treffpunkt Leben this Sunday to feed the needy with physical and spiritual food at the monthly soup kitchen.

Quotes of the week:

"..the moment you are born again, eternal life comes into your spirit." John G. Lake

"The foundation of Christianity rests on inward revelation and inward knowledge. That which is merely traditional or imitative is not true Christianity. The foundation of the church lies in revelation. With revelation comes life. When we were saved, we did not substitute life with doctrine. In like manner, after we are saved we still must not substitute life with doctrine. If a person hears only doctrine and receives no light, what he obtains is only doctrine, not Christ....Our emphasis on doctrine and not on revelation accounts very much for the weakness, failure, and barrenness of the church. How can the church not be weak if she is being weighed down with too many doctrines - all of which are passed from one to another without any inward revelation?" Watchman Nee

"He who has the Son has life." 1 John 5:12

Immersed in the River!

Praise the Lord!

We give God all the glory for what He is doing in the lives of the people of Kingdom Life! Yesterday we met in the Evangelisch-Freikirchliche Gemeinde Frankfurt-Nordwest to have a New Life Celebration. Five people were baptised and 3 people recommitted their lives to Jesus. Hallelujah! As the building of Treffpunkt Leben, where we usually meet, doesn't have a baptismal pool, TPL also meets in the EFG Frankfurt-Nordwest to baptise their people. After the baptisms and recommitments we prayed for the 8 people to be filled with the Holy Spirit and the Lord spoke to each person through prophetic words given to various people in the body. It was a very special time indeed!

After the meeting we gathered together at a local restaurant to celebrate KLF's 6 month "birthday" and to simply enjoy one another. What made the evening particularly significant was that everyone was invited to a meal but that everyone gave according to what they were able to. We therefore collected what everyone liked to contribute so that everyone could be blessed. Our desire is to cultivate a spirit of generosity in our people who share with one another according to what God has blessed them with. If we are generous in the church, we will be generous as the church in the world!

"Selling their possessions and goods, they gave to anyone as he had need.....All the believers were one in heart and mind. No one claimed that any of his possessions was his own, but they shared everything they had." Acts 2:45; 4:32

God's favour is upon us! He is opening up His Word to us in a most wonderful way through spiritual revelation (1 Cor. 2:10, Eph. 1:17). Yesterday the Lord showed us some amazing truth concerning the believer's walk in the Spirit. Looking at Luke 3 & 4 we saw the following:
  1. God loves, and is well pleased with those who have surrendered their lives to Him because He sees us as He sees His own Son, Jesus. Luke 3:21,22
  2. Through Jesus the believer becomes the righteousness of God, dearly loved by the Father. 2 Cor. 5:21; 1 John 3:1
  3. Jesus was led by the Holy Spirit into the desert where He was tempted by the devil. Luke 4:1,2
  4. The Father's will was for Jesus to be absolutely obedient to Him, in order for Jesus to reveal the Father.
  5. Satan tempted Jesus to serve self (the desires of the body and the soul - mind, emotions and will) so that Jesus would do His own will rather than the Father's will. Luke 4:3,6,7,9
  6. The 40 days are significant as they represent the spiritual walk of the believer. Luke 4:2
  7. The 40 days of the flood represent the destruction of the old to release the new and signify the release of the Holy Spirit in the believer's life. Gen. 7:11
  8. Both 40 day accounts speak of the same thing:

as the believer denies self (Luke 4:1-12) and yields to the Holy Spirit,
streams of Living Water will flow from within the believer (John 7:38,39) and without as the "springs of the great deep burst forth, and the floodgates of the heavens" are opened (Gen. 7:11) so that the believer walks in the power of the Holy Spirit (Luke 4:14)!

Glory to God! Our prayer is that we, as Kingdom Life, will increasingly learn to deny self and yield to the Holy Spirit so that streams of Living Water will flow out of us to release God's presence, power and love! Lord have your way.

Quote of the week:

"We were therefore buried with him through baptism into death in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may have new life." Romans 6:4 (emphasis mine)

Realising the Kingdom

Hallelujah!

What another awesome week with God! His favour is upon us!

The Lord is speaking to us in all our meetings about who we are in Christ and how to apply His Word to our lives. He is teaching us to proclaim His truth in spiritual warfare and also over our lives so that we live according to the Spirit and not according to the natural (Romans 8:5).

What is particularly exciting is how the Holy Spirit is quickening His Word in us and blessing our people with spiritual revelation, understanding, knowledge and wisdom (Ephesians 1:17). The Lord is revealing truth to us that we are beginning to understand by His Spirit so that we know Him better and are able to apply His Word in His power! Out of this wonderful move of God, our people are writing songs, poetry and are growing in boldness of faith! Here is a precious sample of one verse from a poem written by one of our youth:

There's going to be a strange kind of Light,
in my bedroom at night.
Stay silent my fear,
He is near,
bringing Heaven down
here.
A lady was gloriously saved last week as she approached a couple of our people on the street as they sought opportunities to risk for God's glory. She was asking for money but she received the riches of Heaven in Christ Jesus! Hallelujah!
Yesterday's meeting was exciting once again. The Lord is continuing to release gifts to His children and yesterday He was releasing prophetic song and wonderful revelation by His Spirit. God's Word to us yesterday was that,
God wants us to REALISE His presence and power both WITHIN and WITHOUT!
The Lord wants us to lay hold of and apprehend clearly what He has accomplished for us in Christ Jesus. He wants us to receive spiritual truth by faith and walk in it. It's becoming increasingly clear to us that realising spiritual truth will not come about through our natural minds but only by faith. It is by faith that we understand (Hebrews 11:3)! The Lord is teaching us that just as the Word became flesh, so we must realise or "make real" by faith God's Word which the Holy Spirit quickens in us by revelation. He is showing us that the truth of His presence, love and power is beyond our natural understanding (Ephesians 3:17-20) and can only be apprehended by faith in the power of the Holy Spirit! Glory to God!
Yesterday evening KLF had the privilege of feeding the poor and homeless and providing clothing. Once again the people left blessed and filled (both spiritually and physically) and God's peace rested upon the whole meeting. We are planning a Christmas dinner for the homeless that will be scheduled for the 24th December. This will be a joint venture with Treffpunkt Leben and we are praying for a suitable location to feed 100 - 200 people.
We give God all the the glory for what He is doing in and through Kingdom Life! Thank you Lord!
Quote of the week:
"You will never reach ideal purposes in any way unless you become the living epistle of the Word by the power of the Holy Spirit. You become the living force of the revelation of God, the incarnation of the personality of His presence in the human soul. Then you know that you are His children." Smith Wigglesworth

Faith!

Praise God!

This past week has been another week of fresh revelation and impartation. Hallelujah! On Tuesday morning at McPrayer, the Lord spoke to us about how important it is to Him that we recognise and declare that He alone is the Creator of Heaven and Earth. Revelation 4:11 says,

"You are worthy, our Lord and God, to receive glory and honour and power, for you created all things, and by your will they were created and have their being." (emphasis mine)
The Lord showed us how this throws a lot of light on man's sinful desire to explain creation through natural means (evolution) and satan's desire to detract from the glory that only belongs to God, as Lord and Creator!
"For since the creation of the world God's invisible qualities - his eternal power and divine nature - have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that men are without excuse. For although they knew God, they neither glorified him as God nor gave thanks to him, but their thinking became futile and their foolish hearts were darkened." Romans 1:20,21
Tuesday's prayer meeting was very powerful once again and the women had a great meeting at Starbucks on Wednesday as well.
On Friday evening Impact! met for an exciting time exploring the difference between the spirit, soul and body as well as the difference between "the natural person", the "spiritual person" and the "fleshly person."
Yesterday's meeting was awesome once again! The Lord is encouraging us to understand and grasp that this is the "year of jubilee" and that it is time for us as His people to reclaim that which has been stolen from us!
Our times of worship in song are "deepening" every week as the Lord is leading us into spontaneous new songs by His Spirit. I praise God for the anointing upon our musicians and how is leading us deeper and deeper into the spiritual realm through our worship!
The Lord is speaking to us about faith and yesterday we saw in the letter to the Hebrews that:
Faith is sure and certain. (11:1)
Without faith we cannot please God. (11:6)
We must believe that God exists. (11:6)
We must believe that He rewards. (11:6)
The Lord is also showing us the difference between natural "faith" that is based on experience and spiritual faith that is based on who God is and what God says. Further we saw that Jesus demonstrated perfect faith. Looking at John 11 we saw how Jesus would explore the will of the Father (11:4), exclaim the will of the Father (11:4,11,23), execute the will of the Father (11:39, 43) and expect the Father to act (11:41,42).
As we begin to exercise true spiritual faith we will see God's glory (John 11:40)!
Quote of the week:
"Faith takes us beyond our understanding into the supernatural realities of God's truth!" Colin Urquhart

All For His Glory!

To God be all the glory!

Our Tuesday prayer meeting was very powerful again. The sense of God's presence and His holiness was overwhelming. We praise God for the power of prayer and for the things He is showing us! Thank you Lord!

Impact! (KLF's youth) met again on Saturday and we looked at the different world views that exist from animism to post-modernism. We had a great discussion on the world's view of tolerance and how it relates to the Biblical world-view which reveals absolute truth.

Today's church meeting was glorious! The Lord is speaking to us about how we must live for His glory and how unbelief and disobedience veil His glory. Jesus lived to reveal the Father's glory through His words and works and God is calling His Church to do the same! Looking at Ezekiel 36:22-28, we saw that God will reveal His holiness and glory through His people to glorify His Name!

The Lord revealed to us that we are to live godly lives, not primarily to please Him but to unveil His glory in us so that He is glorified. Our motivation for holiness must always be for His glory.

I praise God for revelation given to us by the Holy Spirit (Eph. 1:17) and our prayer is that He will glorify His Name as we risk for His glory!

Quote of the week:

"We are not ambassadors to please the King. We are ambassadors to REVEAL the King!"
