Living Word


Glory to our extraordinary God!

Apart from our regular men's prayer breakfast that the men of KLF have every Friday morning, we organised a joint prayer breakfast with the men of Treffpunkt Leben on Saturday morning. It is powerful when men get together to pray in unity and especially when the Body of Christ connects to pray into God's purposes for the Church, the city and the nation. The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective and where the brothers dwell in unity, there the Lord commands His blessing (James 5:16; Psalm 133)! Hallelujah!

This past week we launched our Life Groups and we are excited about how the Lord is using these groups to help us connect with one another, care for one another, grow together and influence others together. For more information on our Life Groups please click here...

Yesterday we had an amazing time as we celebrated the Lord together. Looking at Luke 4:14-37, the Lord showed us that:

As God's extraordinary people own the extraordinary, and live according to the extraordinary, they will experience the extraordinary Kingdom of their extraordinary King!

We praise God for what He is revealing to us and it is wonderful to experience the truth of God's life-giving Word. Hallelujah!

Yesterday evening we had another special time with homeless and needy people at our monthly soup kitchen where we have the opportunity to share God's love, give people hope, provide food and clothing, and build life-giving relationships.

Moving with God


Glory to the King of kings!

The Lord is doing wonderful things in our midst. The more we honour him and His presence in our meetings, the more He reveals Himself to us, causing us to respond in passionate worship with the result that we are encountering God and people are being saved, healed and delivered! Hallelujah!

Yesterday the Lord spoke to us about how we need to respond to His vision for us and this is what He showed us:

  1. If we are to move with God and the vision He has for us then we need to have the right attitude, the right actions and the right associations.
  2. If we have the right attitude toward God's Word we will be firmly established and we will flourish. Joshua 14:6-14; Psalm 1:3; 92:12-15
  3. If we truly believe God's Word to us, we will act on it and deal with the issues that are not in line with God's Word.
  4. If we truly believe God's Word, we will need to reassess our relationships and those we associate with to see whether they are godly and aligned with God's Word and will for us.

We will be what God says we are!

This Thursday evening Voice in the City has organised an evening of prayer for Frankfurt as different churches in Frankfurt gather together to pray for their city.

In February will be starting our new Life Groups which will help us: connect with one another, care for one another and grow together in the Lord.

True Revival

Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ!

These are awesome times of refreshing! God is revealing Himself to us through spiritual understanding, wisdom and knowledge so that we are filled to the measure of all the fullness of God. Hallelujah!

Yesterday the Lord showed us what true revival is and He revealed to us that:

Revival is God saturating His people with Himself.

  • When the Spirit of God drenches man with His presence, power and love; man responds in his spirit, soul (mind, heart and will) and body.
  • Revival is God's connecting heaven and earth.
  • God's people are revived as they release God's Spirit within them to be connected to heaven (Gen. 7:11; Mt 3:13-17; Acts 19:1-6).
  • Faith connects heaven and earth.

Consequently, a revived people overflow with God and reveal His nature and release His power. Hallelujah!

The Lord confirmed His Word yesterday as everyone was drenched in the Holy Spirit and saturated with God! Praise be to our wondeful King who has lavished His love upon us!

Exciting upcoming events and important dates:

14th June & 5th July: Homeless mission - an opportunity to feed the poor spiritually and physically and to overflow with the love of God.
4th July: International Family Day - a fun day out for everyone on the Lohrberg from 14h00 - 20h00 with food, games, face-painting, entertainment and more!
5th July: New Life Celebration - we will be meeting together and baptising believers at the Baptist church in Eschersheim (Haeberlinstr.3) on that Sunday.
27th July - 10th August: No church meetings - most of KLF will be at Faith Camp in Peterborough, England.

21st - 23rd: Prayer Workshop with Les and Dot Mitchell, pastors of Kingdom Faith London.

Obedience

Praise God!

We are excited about what God is doing in us and through us! The Lord is continuing to speak to us about prayer and yesterday He showed us the following:

  • Jesus was heard because of His reverend submission to the Father. Heb. 5:7
  • Jesus always knew the will of the Father when He prayed - He did not pray, "IF it be your will.." Mathew 26:36-46
  • Jesus' absolute submission to the Father meant He was willing to suffer the consequences of doing God's will and not His own, even to the point of death on the cross! Matthew 26:39
  • Nothing mastered Jesus apart from the Father - neither Jesus' flesh, the world or the devil! The disciples however, allowed their flesh to master them even though their spirits were willing! Matthew 26:42, 43
  • The believer is a slave to whatever masters him. 2 Peter 2:19; 1 Cor. 6:12,13; 1 Cor. 9:27
  • Even though Jesus was a Son (identity), He learned obedience from what He suffered. Heb. 5:8
  • Suffering is the consequence of living according to God's will when it conflicts with the will of the flesh, the world and the devil. Gal. 5:17
  • Our faith is tested when we obey God's will despite the consequences.
  • When we are willing to suffer for doing God's will we become mature/ complete just as Jesus learned obedience through suffering and was made perfect (mature/complete). Heb. 5:9
  • God wants His children to be obedient unto holiness. Heb. 12:10,11
  • The purpose of obedience is to become mature in holiness. Heb.5:9; 12:10
  • The goal of obedience is to reach the lost, the sick and the oppressed with the Source of life within us! Heb.5:9; Is. 58:6,7; John 7:37-39
  • Holiness produces a harvest of righteousness and peace! Heb.12:10,11

If we aren't obedient in secret, we will not be obedient in public!

The Lord's presence was awesome yesterday and many were touched spiritually, emotionally and physically by the Father! Thank you Lord for saving, healing and delivering your people! Hallelujah!

We are looking forward to the 20 - 22 March when we will have our KLF training days with Mike and Kay Chance!

God through you!

Hallelujah!

It has been another awesome week with God! We are experiencing more and more of the Lord's presence and power in all our meetings and we're thrilled with where He is taking us! This past week the Lord has been emphasising the need for the church to pray for the leaders of KLF - for wisdom, power and protection. On Tuesday evening at KLF's prayer meeting, the Lord encouraged us with Acts 4:23-31 and chapter 12 - an awesome testimony of the power of corporate prayer (4:24; 12:5)!

"So Peter was kept in prison, but the church was earnestly praying to God for him." Acts 12:5

Right from the beginning of KLF, God has emphasised the need for us to pray for the leadership of KLF in order for the Body to push through into new realms of the spirit (Psalm 84:8,9)! On Friday, at our men's prayer breakfast, we were visited by a pastor from Ghana who inspired us with his testimony of total abandonment to God and the fruit of his life. Again we were led to pray for leadership and we had an incredibly powerful time of intercession and prophetic prayer. God is raising up His people and has appointed us "over nations and kingdoms to uproot and tear down, to destroy and overthrow, to build and to plant" (Jer.1:10) and He needs leaders who are covered in prayer to lead the way (Ex 17:8-13).

"Obey your leaders and submit to their authority. They keep watch over you as men who must give an account. Obey them so that their work will be a joy, not a burden, for that would be of no advantage to you. Pray for us." Hebrews 13:17,18 (Emphasis mine)

Yesterday's meeting was amazing! Pictures of the meeting can be viewed here. As we worshipped, the Lord revealed His holiness more and more with the result that we had to stop and respond to Him in confession and repentance. God is holy and He calls His people to be holy (1 Peter 1:15,16)! After truly encountering God, we continued in His presence as our guest speaker, Suzette Hattingh brought a very powerful Word for the Church and showed us the following:

  1. Man is made in God's image. Gen 1:26
  2. God made man to co-labour with Him. Gen.1:26; 2:19,20; Rom. 8:28
  3. Even though God's presence accompanied formlessness and void, it was His word that aligned creation to His will. Gen. 1:1,2
  4. God has chosen man to co-labour with Him to align creation with His will by speaking His word and will over creation. 1 Ki.18:42-45; Mt. 17:29; Rom. 8:28
  5. God has given man creative power as he speaks God's word that will not return void without producing the fruit God intended it to produce! Is.55:10,11

God is calling the Church as His co-labourer to exercise the creative power of His Word through prayer to produce the fruit of His Kingdom on earth as it is in heaven!

We then ended the meeting by prophesying and declaring Psalm 84:6 over Frankfurt!

Check list for effective praying!

Glory to God!

We are so encouraged! Yesterday's meeting was very powerful! The children kicked the worship off by spontaneously chanting, "Jesus, Jesus, King of kings and Lord of lords" and we very quickly moved into a time of powerful worship and declaration of Jesus' victory and power over all the work of the enemy. We sensed God giving us significant breakthrough as we submitted to Him, proclaimed His truth over our lives, and resisted the enemy (James 4:7,8). Hallelujah!

The Lord is teaching us to pray and we're learning to go to new levels in communion with God. Yesterday the Lord gave us a checklist for effective prayer as Alexander Blair shared the following:

As we approach God in prayer we need to ask ourselves certain questions to ensure that there are no hindrances to our prayers being answered:

  1. Do I have unconfessed sin in my life? Psalm 66:18; 2 Sam. 21:1-14; 1 John 1:9
  2. Am I continuing to "practice evil deeds"?
  3. Am I listening for God's correction in my life? Prov.28:9; 1 Sam. 13:1-15
  4. Do I have a clear conscience when asking in prayer? 1 John 3:21; 5:14,15
  5. Am I praying with faith and believing that God will answer my prayer? Mark 11:23,24
  6. Does God's Word abide in me or is God's Word just a visitor? John 15:7; Ps. 37:4
  7. What does my prayer life reveal about my attitude toward God? Do I treat the Lord like a spouse, a mistress or even a concubine?
  8. Am I in right relationship with those around me? John 15:12
  9. Am I walking in forgiveness? Mark 11:25; 2 Cor. 2:10,11
  10. Is there harmony in my marriage? As a husband, am I living with my wife in an understanding way? Am I honouring her? 1 Peter 3:7
  11. Am I praying in the Spirit? Eph.6:18; Jude 20
  12. Have I asked the Holy Spirit to help me with my weakness in praying? Rom. 8:26
  13. Am I yielding to the Holy Spirit?
  14. If I am unsure of God's will in a matter, am I nevertheless committed to God that I want His will done, regardless of what it is? Rom. 8:26-28
  15. Do I always pray in Jesus' name? John 14:13,14; 16:23
  16. Am I praying according to God's will as revealed in His Word or by His Spirit?
  17. Am I asking with correct motives? James 4:3
  18. Is my desire to "seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness?" Mt. 6:33
  19. Have I shared my blessings with those less fortunate than I am or am I being stingy? Prov.21:13

We are excited to have Suzette Hattingh minister to us this Sunday and we are looking forward to having Mike and Kay Chance with us from the 20 - 22 March for our KLF Training Days. Preparations for this year's Faith Camp are also being made and we are working toward getting all of KLF to attend this dynamic week in August in Peterborough, England!

The right and the responsibility to pray

Praise be to God!

It's been another exciting week! As the Lord teaches us about prayer and we apply His Word to our lives, we are seeing a greater desire and fervency to pray both individually and corporately. The spirit of prayer and the dynamic of prayer is increasing and we are seeing the fruit of our prayers already! God has spoken to us about 2009 being a year of breakthrough and fruitfulness and as we pray God's way, we "will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living" (Psalm 27:13)!

On Saturday our worship team was invited to be part of the Arise Shine conference, organised by Voice in the city with Gayle Claxton and Suzette Hattingh. We praise God for the way He is bringing the Body of Christ together and for the spirit of unity that is developing in Frankfurt amongst the churches. We believe that God will use these Arise Shine conferences to bring the Body together and equip the Church to make a larger impact on Frankfurt! Hallelujah!

Yesterday three people covenanted with KLF to:

  • Establish our covenant unity with Christ and one another
  • Establish God's call on our lives to be part of His local Body
  • Establish our commitment to one another to live in fellowship (Koinonia)
  • Express our agreement of our values, beliefs and the vision of KLF
  • Express our unity in passion for what God is doing in and through KLF
  • Express our unity of DNA
  • Exercise our unity by serving one another with one's time, energy and resources

We are excited about how God is bringing people to us who are devoted to the Lord and to His local church to see Him glorified and to further God's Kingdom on earth as it is in Heaven!

Yesterday theLord spoke to us about the right and the responsibility to pray! He showed us that as believers we have:

  1. The right to become children of God (John 1:12)
  2. The right to call God, "Abba" Father (Rom. 8:14-16)
  3. Full rights as sons and daughters of God (Gal.3:26-4:7)
  4. The right to receive our inheritance because we are heirs (Luke 15:12; 31)
  5. The right to pray (Matt.6:9; Heb. 10:19-22)

The Lord then showed us that we are anointed to be a royal priesthood (Ex.19:4-6; 1 Peter 2:9,10; Rev.5:10) with the priestly responsibility:

  1. To raise God's name up in worship - spirit of worship (1 Peter 2:9; John 4:21-24; Heb.9:9;10:1)
  2. To represent man to God - spirit of intercession (Heb.7:25; Rom.8:26,27)
  3. To reconcile man to God - ministry of reconciliation (John 16:8-11; 2 Cor. 5:18-21)
  4. To reveal God to man - ministers of the Spirit (Rom.15:16; 2 Cor.3:4-6)

God has anointed us to be His children with the right to pray and He has anointed us to be priests of the Kingdom with the responsibility to pray!

In response to God's Word to us we anointed every believer with oil to establish the anointing we have received as children of God and as priests of the Kingdom to pray heaven on earth!

We are devoted to prayer and we have started a pre-meeting prayer time that takes place every Sunday before the meeting and we are setting up intercessor cards for the Body to be purposefully active in prayer.

The Glory and the Kingdom

Hallelujah! God is amazing!

The Lord is anointing our meetings with His awesome presence and revelation! Our lives are being changed as we seek the Father's face and apply His Word to our lives. God is teaching us to pray and yesterday the Lord spoke to us about our IDENTITY and the PURPOSE and GOAL of prayer:

  1. Identity - We have the privilege of having access to God as children of God and addressing Him as "Father". Matthew 6:9; Gal. 3:26; 4:6,7
  2. Purpose - To know God and to know His purposes (His will, His promises and His Word). Prov. 3:5-7; Rom.12:1,2; Eph. 1:17; Isaiah 55:1-9
  3. Goal - To glorify God and see His will done on earth as it is in heaven. Matthew 6:9,10; Is. 55:10-13

"If my people, who are called by my name (identity), will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways (purpose), then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land (goal)." 2 Chron.7:14

This Saturday our worship team will be supporting "Voice in the city" at their Arise Shine Conference. We are excited to partner with VITC to impact Frankfurt and to equip the Church. For more info click here.

Faith - the substance of prayer!

Hallelujah!

We are excited! The Lord is teaching us to pray and we're already seeing wonderful results! Glory to God. We are increasingly experiencing the weight of His glory and yesterday two people testified to having being healed during the meeting! Faith is growing and we're expecting the Lord to do even more signs, wonders and miracles this year! Hallelujah!

Yesterday the Lord spoke to us about the substance of prayer - FAITH. Looking at the examples of Abraham (Gen.18:20-33), Moses (Ex.32:7-14) and the woman who suffered from bleeding (Mark 5:24-34), the Lord showed us how Abraham trusted in God and appealed to His nature; Moses trusted in God and appealed to God's promises and the woman trusted in Jesus and believed in His will to heal her. The Lord then showed us how both Abraham and Noah trusted in God despite the natural circumstances (Rom.4:17-24; Gen.6). Therefore,

Faith is acting upon our trust in God and our knowledge of His purposes despite the circumstances!

We praise God for the healings, for spiritual understanding and for the faith that connects heaven and earth! Hallelujah!

P.R.A.Y.E.R.

Glory to God!

Yesterday's meeting was great fun and a wonderful start to the new year. Check out pictures and videos of the meeting here. The whole KLF family stayed together and so we had a lot of fun with the children as they participated in the meeting.

The Lord spoke to us about 2009 being a year in which He wants to see a restoration of the fear of the Lord and true prayer in the Church. God "is able to do immeasurably more than we ask or imagine" and if we are to experience the new things the Lord wants to do in and through us, we must do the following:

1. Position ourselves.
  • Unless we change something today, things remain the same tomorrow.
  • Positioning ourselves to experience more of God will require repentance - a change in the way we think and behave.
  • The disciples re-positioned themselves immediately as they followed Jesus. Matthew 4:17-22

2. Risk.
  • We need to risk in the natural to secure the spiritual.
  • Risk must overcome the fear of disappointment and the fear of man.

3. Access.
  • Through faith we have access to the limitless power of God. Eph. 1:19; 3:20
  • We must make the most of this awesome privilege!

4. Yield.
  • As we access the supernatural we must yield to the Holy Spirit.
  • We must yield to God's thoughts and God's ways.

5. Expect.
  • We must expect God to do the impossible.
  • Faith expects God to prove His Word.

6. Resolve.
  • We must resolve not to give up but persevere until God fulfills His promises and we experience the "abundantly more than we can ask or imagine."

P.R.A.Y.E.R. - Positioning, Risking, Accessing, Yielding, Expecting and Resolving form the basis of what is needed to experience all that God wants to do in and through us. We believe that the Lord is going to teach us and deepen our understanding of how to pray the way He wants us to pray both individually and corporately this year and that as we develop a lifestyle of prayer we will experience the new things God wants to do this year! Hallelujah!

Yesterday evening we had a very special time with the homeless and needy as we worshipped together, shared the Word together, prayed together and ate together. Glory to God!

This week we are resuming our mid-week meetings and this Sunday we will have the possibility of an extended time of hanging out together after the meeting.

Honouring God with overflowing grace!

Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ. Hallelujah!

Last week was very exciting as we began meeting at the IBTC for our weekly prayer meeting and women's meeting. The Lord is establishing KLF and we now have meetings for everyone to know God and to be equipped to make Him known!

On Saturday a group of us met from different churches in Frankfurt to distribute a Gospel Brochure to every household in the suburb of Frankfurt-Hausen. In the next weeks we will return to the households and seek to speak to the people about what they have received. This project called Mission2Go was successfully used of the Lord in London where thousands of people were reached with the good news. The vision is to reach every home in Frankfurt with the Gospel!

Yesterday's meeting was awesome as God blessed us with His presence and a greater revelation of Himself through the worship and the word. The Lord is speaking to us about honouring Him and yesterday He showed us what it means to be a minister of the Spirit and how to honour Him by overflowing with His grace. Looking at 2 Cor. 3:1-18, the Lord revealed the following to us:

  • The Old Covenant is about following instructions to be like God.
  • The New Covenant is about being filled with God to reveal Him.
  • We have received the fullness of God in Christ to be ministers of His Spirit and not ministers of "instructions." (3:6)
  • We are adopted children of God who are filled with Him to reveal His glory! (3:18)
  • We are to be a revelation of the Living Word! (3:18)

The Lord then showed us that,

  • We honour God when we believe we have received and deny self to live for Him. Rom. 12:1
  • Ministers of the Spirit overflow with the gift of God. 2 Cor. 9:11-15
  • We can only overflow if we are filled with the revelation of what we have received in Christ from God! 2 Cor. 1:3-5; Eph.5:18

"By the grace of God I am what I am" 1 Cor. 15:10

We praise God for revealing Himself to us so that we can reveal Him as we deny self and overflow with Him.

The Spirit of Faith

Glory to God!

The Lord is continuing to speak to us about living according to what we have received! On Friday, at the men's prayer breakfast, God spoke to the men about walking in their inheritance and yesterday He spoke to KLF about honouring Him by agreeing with what we have received. After an awesome time of worship led by the Holy Spirit, the Lord showed us the following:

  1. We honour God when we reflect in the natural what we believe we have received in the spiritual.
  2. We have received mercy, grace and favour. Therefore we must deny self and live our lives in agreement with what we have received to honour God. Rom.12:1
  3. The words we use reflect what we believe. Luke 6:45
  4. When we agree with God's will and what He has given us, we exercise the spirit of faith. 2 Cor. 4:13-15
  5. We are to be "living agreements"; the "Amen" of what God has spoken and done in Christ Jesus. 2 Cor. 1:20
  6. We are to speak the very words of God. 1 Peter 4:11
  7. Jesus spoke the will of the Father into being and healed the sick, raised the dead, stilled the storm and resisted the devil! Power was released as Jesus agreed with the already revealed will of the Father! John 5:19
  8. Speaking God's will is not a formula - it's not about the words we use. It's about revealing the heart of God as we speak in agreement with His will.
  9. Thanking God is the fruit of the spirit of faith as the believer thanks God for what he has received! Col. 3:15-17
  10. The spirit of faith is also exercised through prophecy.
  11. Prophecy is the revelation of God's heart.
  12. A prophetic people reveal the heart of God in word and deed. 1 Cor. 14:31

We then paired up and prophesied over one another as we simply agreed with the Father and spoke God's truth over one another. People were greatly encouraged and edified (1 Cor. 14:3)! God is showing us that we must begin with what we know in order to enter into the unknown. Hallelujah!

We praise God that we now have a room in which to have regular mid-week meetings in. We will therefore have our church prayer meeting on Tuesdays at the IBTC (International Bible Training Centre) at 8pm as well as our new meeting for women that will start at the same venue on Thursdays at 7.30pm!



We are also very excited about the special meetings we are arranging to help people know God and make Him known. These equipping seminars and workshops are called EQUIP and will take place as the Lord leads. Our next EQUIP meeting is on the 11th October and will be led by David Rowe who will teach God's people to encounter God. From the 5th to the 9th of November, Richard Maybery will be visiting Frankfurt and we are also planning another EQUIP meeting, that will be led by Alexander Blair, on Prophetic Evangelism.

We praise God that He is fulfilling His Word to us to establish us this year. We are growing spiritually and numerically and we're excited to be on this awesome journey with Him! Hallelujah!

Dying to self and living to God!

Praise God!

This past week has been awesome! On Tuesday we met with other believers to worship the Lord on the streets of Frankfurt and we are noticing how passers-by are beginning to have an increased interest in what we're doing. People from the streets, who have experienced a touch from God, are bringing friends and family to meet with God! Hallelujah!

On Friday morning the men got together for breakfast, a word of encouragement and prayer. It was a very special time and we're sensing that the Lord is going to use this weekly meeting to do great things with the men of KLF and to influence others for the Kingdom!

Today's meeting was profound as we met with God in worship even before the meeting usually starts! The Lord is continuing to anoint our musicians with new songs and we're excited about how He is blessing us with His presence and glory as we worship Him! Hallelujah!

The Lord spoke to us today about the following:

  1. By God's grace we have received the very gift of God Himself! 2 Cor. 13:5
  2. By God's grace we have received Christ, the wisdom of God and the power of God! 1 Cor.18-24
  3. By God's grace we have become nobility and have received God's wisdom and power to shame the wisdom and the power of the world! 1 Cor. 1:27
  4. It is God's will to glorify His name through us! Ezek.36:22-28

The Lord then showed us that the two main hindrances to seeing God's glory are a wrong understanding of the difference between grace and faith (see last week's word to us) and the flesh or the self life. He then showed us the following:

  1. The flesh cannot glory in God's presence! 1 Cor. 1:28-31
  2. God's glory is revealed through death to self! 2 Cor. 12:9,10
  3. We are to die to self and live to God! Gal.2:20; Phil.1:21; Col.3:3,4; 2 Cor.5:15; Rom. 6:4-10

Everything we do must be motivated by a desire to glorify God and not self.

The Lord then gave us 7 ways to ensure that we remain weak in order to reveal His glory! We must:

  1. Humble ourselves
  2. Check our motivation
  3. Place our confidence in Christ and not in methods or even our faith
  4. Overcome fear by trusting in God rather than in self - fear is the fruit of self-consciousness; boldness is the fruit of God-consciousness!
  5. Risk looking foolish and weak to reveal God's wisdom and power!
  6. Practice "secret obedience"!
  7. Practice pointing to God

We sense that God is preparing KLF for an even greater manifestation of His glory and we are excited that God will confirm His Word to us as we die to self and live for His glory!

Next weekend we will be visited by Jonathon Dyke and Gary Rumbold - two leaders from Kingdom Faith, England.

Grace: The Key to the Supernatural!

Praise be to God!

On Tuesday last week we prayer-walked and worshipped God on the streets of Frankfurt and on Thursday our youth (IMPACT!) joined our two student placements to minister to the poor and needy on the streets and gave them something to eat, prayed for them and simply showed them the love of God. The Lord is blessing our youngsters and Friday's IMPACT! meeting was awesome as our student placements led the meeting and encouraged the guys to realise their identity in Christ. We then concluded the meeting listening to God and encouraging one another with prophetic words as we prayed for one another. Glory to God!



Yesterday we met in a different location to have our New Life Celebration. We praise God for the two planned baptisms and the one spontaneous baptism - the Lord spoke to a lady during the meeting about being baptised and we sensed that God was truly prompting her to be baptised there and then just like the account of Philip and the eunuch in Acts 8! Hallelujah!















The Lord spoke to us about the importance of having a spiritual revelation and understanding of His grace! He showed us that,
  1. Grace is the supernatural and undeserved endowment of God's love, wisdom and power into our lives. Rom. 5:5
  2. We need the Holy Spirit to reveal "what God has freely given us." 1 Cor. 2:12
  3. Stephen (not an apostle), who was full of the Holy Spirit, faith, wisdom, grace and power walked in the supernatural as he "did great wonders and miraculous signs"; had a face "like the face of an angel"; spoke with supernatural wisdom and saw into the supernatural realm of Heaven. Acts 6:3,5,8,15,7:56
  4. The key to releasing the supernatural is the spiritual understanding of God's grace.
  5. When we fully understand God's grace, we will produce supernatural fruit! Col. 1:6
  6. God wants us to stand in the river of grace in which we submit to God's righteousness and not in the river of conditional righteousness where we try to establish our own righteousness . Rom. 5:1,2; 10:3

Looking at Romans 9 we saw that by God's grace:
  1. We have become "objects of God's mercy." vs 23
  2. God is making "the riches of His glory" known to us. vs 23
  3. He prepared us in "advance for glory." vs 23
  4. He has "called us." vs 24
  5. We are "His people." vs 25
  6. We are God's "loved one." vs 25
  7. We are "sons of the living God." vs 26

We continue to rejoice in God's supernatural revelation to us so that we walk in the supernatural by faith! Hallelujah!

Making Room For The Supernatural

Glory to the King of kings!




This past week has been absolutely brilliant! We are thrilled to have two students from Kingdom Faith Church in Horsham, England who will be staying with us for 4 weeks. Our people are going on the streets to talk to people about Jesus and to meet together to pray and worship God in the middle of the "darkest" areas in Frankfurt. The Lord is calling the Church to build an altar of worship in the centre of Frankfurt to change the spiritual atmosphere of the city! Hallelujah!

On Saturday we joined several other churches for a day of fasting and prayer. We met together to repent for the city of Frankfurt and to take spiritual authority over the city. The meeting was the first step to restore what was once an official public holiday in Germany for a day of prayer and repentance. We have made an appeal to the German government to restore this very significant day for this nation to turn to God. The meeting concluded with a very powerful prophetic act as the European and German flags were placed on top of each other and as the flag for the city of Frankfurt was suspended over the two flags, oil and wine were poured onto the Frankfurt flag. The oil and wine then flowed down the Frankfurt flag and drenched the German flag and the European flag. This wonderful prophetic act symbolises how God is pouring out His Spirit and His redemptive blood on the city of Frankfurt so that as the Church is revived and the city awakened, we will see God's Spirit affect Germany and Europe. Hallelujah!

Yesterday's meeting was awesome. We are encountering God with greater intimacy as He reveals Himself to us more and more. The Lord is making the unsearchable riches of Christ known to us by His Spirit (Eph.3:8; 1 Cor. 2:10) and He is teaching us how to live supernatural lives. Looking at Acts 10, God showed us the following:

  • Both Cornelius and Peter made room for the supernatural by positioning themselves expectantly.
  • These men were able to hear God's voice because they were God-conscious (devout, God-fearing, generous and men of faith and prayer).

We praise God for giving us more and more spiritual revelation, wisdom and knowledge (Eph.1:17) so that we learn to develop our supernatural senses.

Releasing The Supernatural!

Glory to the God of miracles, signs and wonders!

The Lord is continuing to teach us to walk in the supernatural and yesterday He spoke to us about being released in it. The Lord showed us the following,

  1. God, who has chosen to make the Church His habitation, is a supernatural God and therefore His people are a supernatural people! Eph. 2:21,22; 3:20; 1 John 4:13
  2. The Church was birthed supernaturally with a manifestation of the supernatural! Acts 2:1-4; 10:44-46; 19:6
  3. The believer enters a supernatural life at conversion! John 3:3-8; Col. 1:13
  4. God wants to saturate the believer's spirit, soul (mind, heart and will) and body with His supernatural presence and power. Eph. 1:17,18; 3:16; 5:18; Rom. 8:9
  5. God wants us to eagerly desire the supernatural. 1 Cor. 14:1
  6. God wants us to try to excel in the supernatural. 1 Cor. 14:12
  7. God wants us to release the supernatural in our lives. Eph. 6:18

"Pray in the spirit on all occasions." Eph.6:18

The Lord then showed us how to pray in the Spirit in order to release the supernatural in our lives. Hallelujah! We will have this important foundational teaching in the teaching section of our website with the accompanying notes.

We praise God for releasing more and more of us into "spiritual things" (1 Cor. 12:1) as people are receiving words of knowledge, dreams, spiritual language, healing, spiritual revelation and are "filled to go!" Consequently our people are touching broken, lost and oppressed lives around them in the "market place" and on the streets of Frankfurt!

This week two students from Kingdom Faith College (Horsham, England) will be arriving to support Kingdom Life and be involved in the life of the church for four weeks. We praise God for our covenant relationship with Kingdom Faith and how we can bless and encourage one another to be equipped to reach our cities and nations for Christ!

Watchmen on the Tower





Hallelujah!

Once a month many pastors and church leaders in Frankfurt and surrounding area gather together to pray for one another and the city of Frankfurt. The Lord is breaking denominational barriers and uniting the Body of Christ in spirit and purpose so that Frankfurt and Germany will see an awakening and the Church will be revived! Here are some pictures that were taken this morning of our prayer meeting on top of the EuroTurm in the heart of Frankfurt. May the Lord unite His people for His glory!

Touching the Throne and touching the world

Glory to God!

This past week has been a week of touching the world and touching the throne of God! Hallelujah! A few of our people went onto the streets of inner city Frankfurt to "Risk for His Glory!" They simply made themselves available to be used of God to touch the lost. By offering prayer for the sick (both rich and poor!), and providing food and items of urgent need (like nappies for a 3 month old baby!) for the homeless, Kingdom Life is touching the world with God's presence, power and love - we are touching the kingdom of this world with the Kingdom of God!

Here is a short testimony:

"On Tuesday of this week Stephanie and Maureen, led by the Holy Spirit approached and spoke to several men and women with various obvious physical needs. Wheelchairs, amputations and walking sticks etc. All but a couple were happy to be prayed for when offered. They shared brief and pleasant times in conversation with them about their personal circumstances and how Jesus can and wants to answer all their needs. On Wednesday at NWZ (shopping mall) again they were led to pray with a lady in a wheelchair. There was ground claimed for Christ and much prayer and praise of God released into the streets of Frankfurt ...and in Starbuck's at NWZ!"

Yesterday's meeting was amazing! The Lord is teaching us about worship and the kind of worshippers He seeks. Looking at John 4, we saw that:

1. We can worship anywhere (vs 21)
2. We worship what we know and not just what we know about (vs 22)
3. We must worship in spirit and in truth (vs 23)
4. God is spirit and so we must worship by the Spirit (vs 24; 1 Cor. 3:9-14)

We also saw that man is made up of spirit, soul and body (1 Thess.5:23; Heb. 4:12) and that to worship in spirit we need to learn to distinguish between what is soul and what is spirit.

After some exciting testimonies and teaching, we spent the remainder of our meeting, worshipping the Lord. God is truly anointing our people to be led by His Spirit so that new songs are being written and spontaneous new songs are being sung during our worship. It's simply awesome!

We praise God for His favour upon us and for teaching us to move with Him. If revival is the breathing of life into the Body then it's happening! God is breathing and releasing His Spirit in us so that we experience spiritual life to touch the world. Freely we have received, freely we must give (Matt. 10:8).

Release!

Glory to God!


This past week has been very interesting and exciting! The men met at McDonalds for our weekly McPrayer and one of our guys came overflowing with revelation concerning the spiritual significance of the temple as described in Hebrews 9. We were greatly encouraged by the insight God was giving us through him. During our prayer time one of us began to prophesy over another guy, who was consequently greatly encouraged.


"But everyone who prophecies speaks to men for their strengthening, encouragement and comfort." 1 Cor. 14:3


Our prayer meeting last Tuesday was awesome. Even though we couldn't go into the room where we would normally pray, the Lord blessed our time together as we met in front of the building and prayed and worshipped! We believe it's God's call for us to begin moving out into the streets more and more.


The ladies met on Wednesday for their weekly meeting at Starbucks and Impact met again for their weekly meeting. They had a great time and are being taught to prophesy and to exercise this powerful gift on one another, to equip them to be used wherever the Lord wants to speak into the lives of those they encounter at school or in the street etc. (1 Cor. 14:24,25)!


Over the weekend we were blessed with meeting Munday, Jennifer and Samuel Martin for the first time. The Lord had prompted Munday to contact us from the United States and so we got together as they spent the weekend in Frankfurt on their way back to the U.S. on their return trip from Israel and invited them to visit our meeting on Sunday. The Lord encouraged KLF with a powerful prophecy that was given to Munday for us as well as through the message/teaching Munday brought, confirming God's will for us to be on the streets, using the gifts of the Holy Spirit to reveal God's heart to the people. We concluded the meeting with Munday ministering to us with prophetic words and prayer and we were delighted to have one of our members sing in the Spirit over us as the Lord touched the lives of our people in a very special way. Munday is clearly anointed to do prophetic evangelism and we are planning a week together later on this year to team up with Jennifer and him to reach people on the streets of Frankfurt with God's love and power. This past week has clearly been a week of prophecy and the Lord releasing our people in this powerful gift that builds up the church and convicts the unbeliever as God speaks through His people to reveal His heart to those whom He longs to encourage and touch. Many of us are being released in this gift and so we are planning some training sessions on the prophetic to teach, train, equip and release our people to encourage one another and to reach the lost with the gift of prophecy. We praise God for blessing us so richly with the gifts of the Spirit and the people to equip us!


The Lord is fulfilling the vision that has been given to Kingdom Life to raise up a people after His own heart who reach the lost and make disciples with the presence, power and love of God as they risk for His glory! Thank you Lord for your faithfulness!

God's favour is upon us!

Hallelujah! This Sunday's meeting was awesome! God is present and He is adding to our number. The Lord's favour is truly upon us and He is confirming His Word to us over and over again.

A couple of our people testified about risking for His glory last week at McDonalds and a shopping mall and seeing God heal and touch two people. This has prompted us to start a TESTIMONY blog to record how God's Kingdom is being furthered on earth as we risk for His glory and see miracles, signs and wonders as God confirms His Word (Acts 14:3) and glorifies His name!

Last week a number of us met Richard Maybery (picture) who was visiting Germany and ministering in Speyer Vineyard over the weekend. He brought great encouragement and all who spent time with him were refreshed in their spirit and built up in their faith. Richard has KLF on his heart and is excited about what God is doing in and through us.

This evening we will have another exciting time with the Lord as we meet to pray in downtown Frankfurt and this Friday IMPACT will be getting together again.

Rejoice!

Praise the Lord! This weekend both Gabi's knees were healed at the "Healing and Revival Conference" in Frankfurt. God heals today!

A bunch of us also got to meet Brother Yun, a man of God who went through horrific persecution and suffering for the Gospel in China and who witnessed the miraculous in his life. His story can be read in "The Heavenly Man" - a true and inspiring account that echoes the work of the Holy Spirit in the book of Acts in our generation. A must read!

The Lord continues to bless us and this Sunday we met with Him in a very special way as He filled us with His Spirit and anointed us with "the oil of gladness" (Isaiah 61:3). God has been speaking to us about how joy and peace come out of trust in Him and how important it is for us to guard our peace (Rom. 15:13).

This evening we will meet for the first time in the Gutleut church to pray and next Sunday will be KLF's first opportunity to run the soup kitchen at the same venue. We plan on having a short worship service followed by yummy food and an opportunity to love the people the Lord brings.

Next week our dear friend, Richard Maybery, will be visiting KLF and we look forward to a Spirit-filled time together with him in Frankfurt and in Speyer where he will be ministering at Speyer Vineyard.

There is much to be thankful for and we rejoice greatly in God's faithfulness and love.
