Unstopping the well of revival

Praise be to the Author of life!

We have moved! Yesterday we had our first meeting at our new location for our Sunday meetings at the Christliches Zentrum Frankfurt. It was awesome!

We believe that it is important for God's people to demonstrate their unity in spirit, soul and body by establishing their unity in spirit; expressing their unity in soul (mind, will and heart) and exercising their unity, physically (body) by serving one another. Four people covenanted with KLF and we with them yesterday, because of our desire to build God's Kingdom together in spirit, soul and body. We praise God for people who are hungry for God and are committing their lives to live for Him and to build His Kingdom! Hallelujah! You can see pictures of our covenanting here...

The Lord has been preparing us for this new season and our move to CZF. Following a prophetic word given to us by Richard Maybery last year where the Lord said to KLF that we would partake of the well of revival at that very location where revival had taken place in the past; the Lord has opened the doors for us to meet at CZF and has confirmed His will concerning this significant move through Bengt Wedemalm who visited KLF last week (check out Bengt's comment on his visit here...).

Looking at Genesis 26:1-25, the Lord spoke to us about unstopping the well of revival that had been dug in the past. He told us to honour His work in the past and to build upon what has already been established. The Lord showed us that it is because of our relationship to Him as our Father and His Son as our Brother that He is blessing us. As we drink from the well of revival, God told us not to become possessive but to be good stewards of what He blesses us with by giving freely of what we have freely received.

It is as we steward the waters of revival that we will flourish!

In order to respond to God's promise to us, He took us to John 4:1-19 where He confirmed His desire to unstop the well of revival in each of us and in our new location by offering us the free gift of Living Water. The awesome fact about the account of Jesus and the Samaritan woman is that it shows that God wants to bless those who will just believe in the Giver and in the Gift that He wants to release to those who are truly thirsty for Him. Hallelujah!

Following God's revelation to us we simply worshipped the Giver and received the Gift by faith and unstopped the well of revival in the Spirit. Consequently people were saved, filled and released into a deeper level in their relationship with God as they overflowed with God's Spirit and drank from the well of revival! Hallelujah!

These are truly exciting times and we are in awe of what God is doing in us and through us! All glory belongs to Him!

This week IMPACT! (KLF's youth) will be moving to their new location as well and we believe God is going to do a wonderful work through them as they bring His Kingdom to Frankfurt-Sachsenhausen!

Quote of the week:

"Jesus answered her, 'If you knew the gift of God and who it is that asks you for a drink, you would have asked him and he would have given you living water.'" John 4:10

Seeking God's Face

Praise God!

This past week has been profound, ground-breaking and very significant. We have been extremely blessed to have Richard Maybery visit us and take us through a series of teaching on Seeking God's Face: living from the inside out. The essence of what God was showing us is how He wants His people to move from Eros to Agape; from man-centredness to God-centredness; from living for self to living for God (the sessions have been recorded and are available at KLF). Having Richard visit us for a whole week always takes us to a new level of intimacy and encouter with God but also a renewed zeal and passion for God and His purposes are imparted! Hallelujah!

Yesterday's meeting was awesome as we met with God and He spoke to us through Richard about the Spirit-shaped life. The Holy Spirit then ministered to each of us as Richard prophesied over us and we received from the Lord.

We are excited that doors are beginning to open up for KLF to serve the Church and the people of Frankfurt. We now have 2 regular slots every month to serve the poor and needy and the Lord is giving our worship team opportunities to minister to the Church in Frankfurt next year at different events.

We praise God for Divine relationships that He orchestrates for His purposes! Hallelujah!

Quote of the week:

"Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails." 1 Cor. 13:4-8

New Life Celebration

Glory to the God of peace!

These are truly exciting times! The Lord is raising, building and equipping His people to manifest His presence, power and personality! Through the cross we are reconciled to God and to one another! Hallelujah!

Yesterday the Lord spoke to us about not only being reconciled to Him and to one another, but also about how He wants us to be reconciled with ourselves! Looking at the account of Mephibosheth, the Lord showed us how we can grow up with a wrong identity because of not knowing and believing in the covenant God has already made with us by His blood. When we base our identity on our weaknesses and what man and Satan say about us, we become spiritually crippled and cannot walk in the fullness of what God has given us! The Lord wants His people to live out of the covenant He has made with His people. He wants us to live from our new identity in Christ and how God sees us. As God has forgiven us in Christ, so we must forgive ourselves and walk in the blood-bought freedom and identity God has given us. We must be reconciled with ourselves!

We praise God for His amazing work in drawing people to Himself and yesterday we celebrated another new life in Christ through baptism. The Lord is changing lives as we encounter Him and many are testifying to the wonderful work of the Holy Spirit in their lives during and outside our meetings! Hallelujah! You can view pictures taken on the day at http://www.dropshots.com/KLFPhotomosaic

This week is going to be amazing. God's favour is upon us and we sense that God is about to do an even deeper work in us through the ministry of Richard Maybery. You can see the schedule of this week's "Seeking God's Face" meetings at http://www.kingdomlife-frankfurt.com/resources/Maybery.pdf.

The Lord wants us to know Him so that we can make Him known! Everyone is welcome to attend these meetings and we will be translating the meetings into German for any German-speaking guests.

Quote of the week:

"Jesus replied: 'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.' This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: 'Love your neighbour as yourself.'" Matthew 22:37-39

Supernatural Peace

Glory to the Prince of Peace!

We praise God for blessing us with His presence and revelation so that we can know Him more and make Him known! Yesterday's meeting was glorious as the Holy Spirit led us into the throne room of grace, mercy, glory and power! Hallelujah!

The Lord is continuing to speak to us about spiritual love that comes from a pure heart, a good conscience and a sincere faith (1 Tim. 1:5) and yesterday He showed us the following:

The purpose of Christ's death on the cross was to:

  1. Reconcile man to God (2 Cor. 5:11-21) so that man can have peace with God (Rom. 5:1; Is. 53:4,5) and be cleansed of a guilty conscience (Heb. 9:8-15).
  2. Reconcile man to other believers so that we can live at peace with one another and with a clear conscience (Eph. 2:11-18; Acts 24:16).
  3. The cross symbolises the vertical reconciliation of man to God and the horizontal reconciliation of man to man.
  4. Christ's death on the cross therefore enables the believer to live at peace with God and with others and to have a clear conscience with God and with man.

This Sunday we will be having a New Life Celebration at the EFG in Eschersheim (please check last week's blog) and we are looking forward to Richard Maybery's visit next week!

Quote of the week:

"His purpose was to create in himself one new man out of the two, thus making peace, and in this one body to reconcile both of them to God through the cross, by which he put to death their hostility. He came and preached peace to you who were far away and peace to those who were near. For through him we both have access to the Father by one Spirit." Eph. 2:15-18

A Good Conscience

Glory to the King of kings!

The Lord is continuing to give us spiritual revelation and understanding in our meetings and we are excited about where He is taking us! Hallelujah!

Yesterday's meeting was very powerful. The Lord's presence was "thick" and we continued to worship Him as the Holy Spirit led us. The Lord delights in true worshippers who wait on Him and don't just go through the motions but worship Him in spirit and truth. Hallelujah!

The Lord is teaching us how to be the spiritual people He has created us to be in Christ. Yesterday He spoke to us about spiritual love and He showed us the following:

  1. God has graced us with His love so that the believer has the divine potential to reveal the Lord's love (spiritual love). 1 John 4:12; John 13:34
  2. The conditions for the believer to overflow with spiritual love are "a pure heart, a good conscience and a sincere faith." 1 Tim. 1:3
  3. The Lord leads the believer by His Spirit through the believer's spirit. 1 Th. 5:23; Rom. 8:16; Gal. 5:16-25
  4. The believer's spirit discerns the spiritual things that are from God. 1 Cor. 2:13,14
  5. The Holy Spirit communicates with the believer's conscience. Rom. 9:1; 2 Cor. 1:12
  6. The Lord uses the believer's conscience to ensure that he has peace with God and peace with man. Acts 24:16
  7. To live from the spirit is to pay attention to one's conscience and act accordingly! Acts 24:16; Rom. 13:5; 2 Cor. 4:2; 2 Cor. 5:11; 1 Tim. 1:19, 3:9; 2 Tim. 1:3; Heb. 13:18; 1 Peter 3:16

We praise God for teaching us to live by the Spirit and keep in step with Him so that we will overflow with His love (Gal. 5:22,25)!

On the 2 November, KLF will be meeting in the EFG in Eschersheim but will resume meetings at TPLF the following Sunday.

We are looking forward to having Richard Maybery with us in the first week of November (4-9). He will be leading a series of EQUIP meetings on Seeking God's face: living from the inside out.

Quote of the week:

"I strive to keep my conscience clear before God and man." Acts 24:16

Spiritual Love

Praise be to God!

This past week was awesome! On Saturday, David Rowe (KLF worship leader) led an EQUIP seminar and workshop on worship and encountering God. We provided translation into German in order to open our EQUIP meetings to other churches in order to also bless and equip others to know God and make Him known. Many people encountered God in a fresh and dynamic way and learned how to worship the Lord with their lives. We praise God for the anointing upon David's life and the spiritual insight God is giving him to release the saints into greater intimacy with, and worship of God. The teaching from the day is available to listen to and download on the teaching section of the KLF website.

We are excited about what God is showing us and it is wonderful to see the manifestation of God's revelation as people apply the Word to their lives and their lives to the Word. Yesterday the Lord spoke to us about spiritual love and He showed us the following:
  1. God has given us everything to be a revelation of Him through our knowledge of Him. 2 Peter 1:3
  2. We are graced to reveal God - His presence, His personality and His power!
  3. As we know God's love, we will reveal His love. 1 John 4:7-12; John 14:15; John 13:34
  4. Our goal is to love as God loves us. 1 Tim. 1:5
  5. God's love is spiritual love. Col. 1:8; Gal. 5:22
  6. Spiritual love comes from a pure heart, a good conscience and a sincere faith. 1 Tim. 1:5

Praise be to God for His revelation to us so that we can know Him and make Him known for His glory! Hallelujah!

Yesterday evening we had another awesome opportunity to demonstrate God's love to the homeless and needy at the monthly soup kitchen. We praise God that everyone left satisfied and that spiritual seed was sown into their lives. We rejoice in the opportunities to pray with these precious people for God to save them, deliver them and heal them and we are seeing more and more people respond to the Word and the love that is being shared with them. Hallelujah!

We are looking forward to what promises to be an exciting week with Richard Maybery from South Africa who will be leading a series of EQUIP meetings from the 5 - 9 November on Seeking God's Face. Please check the EQUIP section of the KLF website for details on times and location.

The Spirit of Faith

Glory to God!

The Lord is continuing to speak to us about living according to what we have received! On Friday, at the men's prayer breakfast, God spoke to the men about walking in their inheritance and yesterday He spoke to KLF about honouring Him by agreeing with what we have received. After an awesome time of worship led by the Holy Spirit, the Lord showed us the following:

  1. We honour God when we reflect in the natural what we believe we have received in the spiritual.
  2. We have received mercy, grace and favour. Therefore we must deny self and live our lives in agreement with what we have received to honour God. Rom.12:1
  3. The words we use reflect what we believe. Luke 6:45
  4. When we agree with God's will and what He has given us, we exercise the spirit of faith. 2 Cor. 4:13-15
  5. We are to be "living agreements"; the "Amen" of what God has spoken and done in Christ Jesus. 2 Cor. 1:20
  6. We are to speak the very words of God. 1 Peter 4:11
  7. Jesus spoke the will of the Father into being and healed the sick, raised the dead, stilled the storm and resisted the devil! Power was released as Jesus agreed with the already revealed will of the Father! John 5:19
  8. Speaking God's will is not a formula - it's not about the words we use. It's about revealing the heart of God as we speak in agreement with His will.
  9. Thanking God is the fruit of the spirit of faith as the believer thanks God for what he has received! Col. 3:15-17
  10. The spirit of faith is also exercised through prophecy.
  11. Prophecy is the revelation of God's heart.
  12. A prophetic people reveal the heart of God in word and deed. 1 Cor. 14:31

We then paired up and prophesied over one another as we simply agreed with the Father and spoke God's truth over one another. People were greatly encouraged and edified (1 Cor. 14:3)! God is showing us that we must begin with what we know in order to enter into the unknown. Hallelujah!

We praise God that we now have a room in which to have regular mid-week meetings in. We will therefore have our church prayer meeting on Tuesdays at the IBTC (International Bible Training Centre) at 8pm as well as our new meeting for women that will start at the same venue on Thursdays at 7.30pm!

We are also very excited about the special meetings we are arranging to help people know God and make Him known. These equipping seminars and workshops are called EQUIP and will take place as the Lord leads. Our next EQUIP meeting is on the 11th October and will be led by David Rowe who will teach God's people to encounter God. From the 5th to the 9th of November, Richard Maybery will be visiting Frankfurt and we are also planning another EQUIP meeting, that will be led by Alexander Blair, on Prophetic Evangelism.

We praise God that He is fulfilling His Word to us to establish us this year. We are growing spiritually and numerically and we're excited to be on this awesome journey with Him! Hallelujah!

Quote of the week:

"It is written, 'I believed, therefore I have spoken.' With that same spirit of faith we also believe and therefore speak.." 2 Cor. 4:13

Walking in the Supernatural

God you are so awesome!

This past week has been incredible! On Tuesday evening we invited pastors and leaders from different churches in Frankfurt to join together for a time of worship and encouragement. Richard Maybery, our guest speaker from Cape Town, South Africa, spoke to us about building a supernatural church and ministered to us in the power of the Holy Spirit as we were encouraged and refreshed with the presence of God! God is connecting His church for His purposes in Frankfurt! Hallelujah!

We have been so immensely blessed through Richard Maybery during our KLF Revival Fire Training Days, as he has been equipping us to walk in the supernatural! Over 7 sessions Richard showed us the following:

  1. An introduction to walking in the supernatural
  2. Hunger to walk in the supernatural
  3. Positioning yourself for the supernatural
  4. Breaking through to the supernatural
  5. Developing supernatural eyesight
  6. Your vital link to the supernatural
  7. God's manifest presence

We praise God for showing us how to tap into the "immeasurably more than we can ask or imagine" (Eph. 3:20) according to His glorious riches!

Today the Lord filled the place with people who are hungry for His presence and power. Richard Maybery spoke to us about the "theology of strength in weakness" from 2 Corinthians 12:1-10 and many were mightily blessed as the Holy Spirit ministered to us in His intimate power. Thank you Lord!

Quote of the week:

"For when I am weak, I am strong" 2 Cor. 12:10

God's favour is upon us!

Hallelujah! This Sunday's meeting was awesome! God is present and He is adding to our number. The Lord's favour is truly upon us and He is confirming His Word to us over and over again.

A couple of our people testified about risking for His glory last week at McDonalds and a shopping mall and seeing God heal and touch two people. This has prompted us to start a TESTIMONY blog to record how God's Kingdom is being furthered on earth as we risk for His glory and see miracles, signs and wonders as God confirms His Word (Acts 14:3) and glorifies His name!

Last week a number of us met Richard Maybery (picture) who was visiting Germany and ministering in Speyer Vineyard over the weekend. He brought great encouragement and all who spent time with him were refreshed in their spirit and built up in their faith. Richard has KLF on his heart and is excited about what God is doing in and through us.

This evening we will have another exciting time with the Lord as we meet to pray in downtown Frankfurt and this Friday IMPACT will be getting together again.

We praise God for His favour upon us!

Quote of the week:

"Stay current with the current of the Holy Spirit!" Richard Maybery

Rejoice!

Praise the Lord! This weekend both Gabi's knees were healed at the "Healing and Revival Conference" in Frankfurt. God heals today!

A bunch of us also got to meet Brother Yun, a man of God who went through horrific persecution and suffering for the Gospel in China and who witnessed the miraculous in his life. His story can be read in "The Heavenly Man" - a true and inspiring account that echoes the work of the Holy Spirit in the book of Acts in our generation. A must read!

The Lord continues to bless us and this Sunday we met with Him in a very special way as He filled us with His Spirit and anointed us with "the oil of gladness" (Isaiah 61:3). God has been speaking to us about how joy and peace come out of trust in Him and how important it is for us to guard our peace (Rom. 15:13).

This evening we will meet for the first time in the Gutleut church to pray and next Sunday will be KLF's first opportunity to run the soup kitchen at the same venue. We plan on having a short worship service followed by yummy food and an opportunity to love the people the Lord brings.

Next week our dear friend, Richard Maybery, will be visiting KLF and we look forward to a Spirit-filled time together with him in Frankfurt and in Speyer where he will be ministering at Speyer Vineyard.

There is much to be thankful for and we rejoice greatly in God's faithfulness and love.
