Family Time

Glory to God!

Yesterday we had a wonderful time together as a church family as everyone participated in the meeting.

God's Word to us was brought through the children's talk as the Lord spoke to us about the Gift of the Holy Spirit and how the believer can only truly experience God if s/he opens the Gift and tastes and sees that the Lord is good (Psalm 34:8)! After encouraging the children to enjoy the fellowship of the Holy Spirit every day in prayer and reading God's Word, they were also given a key to fully experiencing God's presence and power by "risking for His glory" - stepping out to do what only God can do. We then asked everyone in the meeting with a need for healing to go to the front so that the children could lay hands on them and heal them. After the children laid their hands on the sick, those that could test whether they had been healed did so and testified to feeling significantly better as well as to being healed! We praise God for His faithfulness and we give Him all the glory for His wonderful presence and power in our meetings.

After witnessing God's power at work through our young Kingdom builders, we spent time with an "open mic" for anyone to publicly give thanks to God for His work in their lives in 2009. This precious time when our people testified to God's faithfulness, God's miraculous healing, provision and restoration has been included on our weekly podcast which you can listen to here...

We are looking forward to an exciting 2010 as we continue to move with God! On the 17 January we will be having our KLF Vision Day - a time to hear what's on God's heart for KLF for 2010 and how we as a church will respond to His direction.

Quote of the week:

"Taste and see that the Lord is good." Psalm 34:8

Restoration

Glory to the God!

The Lord is speaking to us about 2010 being a year of restoration. It is His will for His people to walk in wholeness and fullness of life, both individually and corporately. The Lord is showing us that the restoration process takes place as we align ourselves with His Truth and walk by faith and in obedience to His will. As we do so, we will see God's grace released for the restoration of health, relationships and resources as well as the unveiling of God's assignments, purposes and strategic direction for us.

Yesterday the Lord spoke to us about Divine Exchange and this is what He showed us:

  • Jesus became man in order to completely identify with us. Phil. 2:5-8
  • Jesus can identify with us when we are tempted because He was tempted. Heb. 2:14-18; 4:15
  • Jesus can identify with the consequences of our sin because He endured the pain and suffering of our sin on the cross. Isaiah 53
  • Jesus clothed Himself with humanity so that we could be clothed with Divinity! 2 Cor. 8:9; 2 Peter 1:4
  • The appropriation of the Divine Exchange occurs as we trust in God and He renews and restores us. Is. 40:31

"...those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength" Isaiah 40:31

  • To "wait" is to be entwined in God.
  • To "renew" is to exchange.

The Lord then showed us how to be entwined in Him and how to be restored with the following:

  1. Fix your eyes on Jesus and not on your circumstances or pain.
  2. Worship the Lord and enter into His presence.
  3. Allow God to envelop you with His presence.
  4. Entwine yourself in God.
  5. Exchange your imperfection for His perfection (your sin for His forgiveness; your pain for His healing; your sorrow for His joy; your anger for His grace etc)
  6. Thank God for the exchange and for what you have now received.
  7. Meditate on what He has graced you with.

We praise God for teaching us how to appropriate the Divine Exchange and how we can walk in wholeness and fullness of life! Hallelujah!

Quote of the week:

"For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, so that you through his poverty might become rich." 2 Cor. 8:9

Wholeness

Glory to God!

The Lord is restoring us! As He continues to reveal Truth to us, we are being healed - spirit, soul and body. Yesterday the Lord spoke to us about being healed spiritually, emotionally, mentally and physically as we align our thinking and our lifestyle to the truth of His Word. The Lord showed us how we need to be made whole from the inside out so that we reveal the wholeness God intends for His Kingdom people. We praise God that it is His will to heal us through and through and that we can enter into wholeness by faith and obedience. Hallelujah!

Quote of the week:

"'...I will restore you to health and heal your wounds,' declares the Lord." Jeremiah 30:17

The power of the testimony

Great is the Lord and most worthy of praise; his greatness no one can fathom. Psalm 145:3

This has been another exciting week! The Brazilian dance group, Tribus, led an amazing 3-day dance workshop at CZF and many were blessed as they learned to worship in dance! Tribus will be performing at CZF on the 1st August. Check here for more details...

On Saturday a group of us hit the streets with Tribus to reach people with the Good News! As Tribus and others danced on the pedestrian zone in the middle of Frankfurt, we had opportunities to witness to interested people and reveal God's glory! We praise God for the spiritual impact we made and for the many lives that were touched with God's presence, power and love! Hallelujah!

The Lord is continuing to speak to us about revival and yesterday He showed us the following:
  1. Revival is when people are saturated with God and overflow with Him.
  2. To be saturated with God we need to see His glory - His presence, personality and power.
  3. When God reveals His glory to us, we become witnesses of that revelation of God.
  4. The revelation of God that we witness becomes our testimony.
  5. The testimony of God is the spirit of prophecy. Rev. 19:10
  6. Because God is unchanging, the testimony of God becomes a present reality when accompanied by faith. Heb. 4:2-6
  7. Every testimony of God's glory is powerful - whether it be the Old "Testimony", the New "Testimony" or present day testimonies!
  8. Faith takes hold of all the testimonies of God!
  • 3 things happen when we value and honour the testimony:
  1. The testimony will strengthen our faith. Psalm 77; Heb. 2:1
  2. The testimony stirs us to worship God. Psalm 145
  3. The testimony motivates us to testify and bear witness. Psalm 145
  • Faith in the testimony leads to an encounter with God. John 5:37-40
  • We are called to be witnesses of God who have encountered Him and not advocates who just know about Him!

We are called to seek God's glory and become witnesses of God's presence, personality and power so that we can reveal His glory through our testimony!

We praise God for continuing to reveal His presence and power in our meetings! People are being healed, saved and delivered as they witness the revelation of God's glory! Hallelujah!

Quote of the week:

"All you have made will praise you, O Lord; your saints will extol you. They will tell of the glory of your kingdom and speak of your might, so that all men may know of your mighty acts and the glorious splendor of your kingdom." Psalm 145:10-12 (emphasis mine)

Faith - the substance of prayer!

Hallelujah!

We are excited! The Lord is teaching us to pray and we're already seeing wonderful results! Glory to God. We are increasingly experiencing the weight of His glory and yesterday two people testified to having being healed during the meeting! Faith is growing and we're expecting the Lord to do even more signs, wonders and miracles this year! Hallelujah!

Yesterday the Lord spoke to us about the substance of prayer - FAITH. Looking at the examples of Abraham (Gen.18:20-33), Moses (Ex.32:7-14) and the woman who suffered from bleeding (Mark 5:24-34), the Lord showed us how Abraham trusted in God and appealed to His nature; Moses trusted in God and appealed to God's promises and the woman trusted in Jesus and believed in His will to heal her. The Lord then showed us how both Abraham and Noah trusted in God despite the natural circumstances (Rom.4:17-24; Gen.6). Therefore,

Faith is acting upon our trust in God and our knowledge of His purposes despite the circumstances!

We praise God for the healings, for spiritual understanding and for the faith that connects heaven and earth! Hallelujah!

Quote of the week:

"...without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him." Hebrews 11:6

Faith Camp '08

Hallelujah!

We've just returned from an awesome week at Faith Camp in Peterborough, England. 27 people from Kingdom Life attended and roughed it out together in tents, through a little rain and lots of wind. It was great to be together and to be part of an amazing time with God. The meetings were terrific with dynamic worship and inspiring preaching. It was truly a time to meet with the Lord with over 5000 other people in many different ways. What is really exciting is the fact that the week was a continuation of what God has been saying to us in these past weeks. Following from His Word to us concerning living to know Him and make Him known, the Lord spoke to us last week about Christ in us and how to manifest His glory in our lives. Through powerful and very practical teaching we learned how to demonstrate God's glory by healing the sick and living according to the Holy Spirit. As we responded to God's Word to us, we saw many people receive physical healing as the Lord glorified Himself! The Father took us from, Revelation to Release to Revival. Hallelujah!

To find out more about what we got up to at Faith Camp check out the Kingdom Faith Blogs and watch video clips of reports of the week.

Building A Supernatural Church!

Praise God!

This past week has been another exciting adventure with God as He is revealing more and more of His glory in our meetings. Yesterday's encounter with God was another confirmation of what He is saying to us concerning His purpose for Kingdom Life. Richard Maybery gave us the following prophecy during his visit two weeks ago:

“I saw a kingly crown coming down from heaven and landing in the front. The King of glory has come down among you and He has anointed this church plant with His power and His kingly presence. This church has the stamp of kingly royalty upon it and it has kingly royalty that will attract the people that he has predestined for this church and it is His kingly royalty that will replace the rags of filth and rags of brokenness with robes of righteousness and healing!”

Abba, Father is releasing us to be the supernatural church He has made us to be in accordance with His "pleasure and will" (Eph.1:5); "the riches of God's grace" (Eph.1:7) and "the plan of Him who works out everything in conformity with the purpose of his will" (Eph.1:11). Hallelujah!

For us to realise our identity and purpose as God's supernatural people, we need spiritual wisdom and revelation and our hearts to be enlightened (Eph. 1:17,18). Then we will,

  • know God better (Eph.1:17)
  • know the hope to which he has called us (Eph.1:18)
  • know the riches of the glorious inheritance in the saints (Eph.1:18)
  • know his power for us who believe (Eph.1:19)

The Lord showed us from Ephesians 1:19-23 that,

  • God's power is incomparable
  • God's power is His mighty strength
  • God's power raised Jesus to the heavenly realm
  • God's power gave Jesus authority over every authority, rule and dominion now!
  • God's power gave Jesus the highest title
  • God's power placed all things under Jesus' feet

This awesome power is at work in those who believe and is able to do immeasurably more than we can ask or imagine as we release it by faith! It is according to the power that is within us that God wants to align the natural according to the supernatural and bring His Kingdom on earth as it is in Heaven! Glory to God!

We praise God for wonderful testimonies of people being saved and healed. Yesterday one of our people testified to being healed of neck pain due to a deformity that she had had caused by polio! God is giving us words of knowledge, spiritual revelation and wonderful encounters with Him during the worship, the preaching of the Word, ministry and prayer. Thank you Father!

We give the Lord all the glory and the praise for blessing us with the riches of His grace!

Quote of the week:

"Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we can ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen." Ephesians 3:20,21

Impartation

Glory to the living God!

Yesterday was awesome! We came together hungry and expectantly to our IMPARTATION meeting, ready to receive the fire of God. Mark Stibbe calls it, "The Father's Impartation for Revival through Evangelism - F.I.R.E!" The Lord is pouring out His Spirit to encourage the Church to reach the lost, the sick and the oppressed with His glory - His presence, power and love!

The Lord showed us yesterday that,

  • God is imparting a spiritual gracing that is releasing the faith that is attracting the glory of the Lord. Romans 1:11; Lev. 9:23
  • Faith is the substance of Heaven that releases God's glory and anointing! Hebrews 11:1,6 (KJV)
  • The Spirit of God is releasing a greater measure of His glory. 2 Cor. 3:18
  • Jesus wants to reveal His glory to us. John 17:24
  • Just as Elisha had to tear his mantle in two to enter into a greater anointing as he clothed himself with Elijah's mantle, Jesus tore the veil for us to enter into The Anointing as we are clothed with Him! 2 Kings 2:12,13
  • To receive this spiriual gracing, God's people must come hungry, empty and weak (not by works but by faith) like jars of clay ready to overflow with the oil of the Spirit into the world. 2 Cor. 4:7; 2 Kings 4:1-7

During a very special time of ministry and impartation everyone received the F.I.R.E of God. Now we are called to walk in the anointing and to "part the waters" (2 Kings 2:14), i.e. release the faith that attracts the glory of God and brings Heaven on earth! Hallelujah!

We praise God for His faithfulness; for healing a man who came into the meeting with pain in his leg but left pain-free; for blessing us with His presence, power and love and for His awesome revelation to us! Thank you, Jesus!

Quote of the week:

"Then Jesus said to them again, Peace be unto you: as my Father hath sent me, even so I send you. And when he had said this, he breathed on them and saith unto them, Receive ye the Holy Ghost." John 20:21,22 (emphasis mine)

Fellowship with Abba, Father

Praise be to Abba, Father!

This past week has been another exciting time with the Lord! The Spirit of revelation (Eph. 1:17) is upon us and the Lord is revealing more and more of Himself to us in our meetings. Hallelujah!

At our weekly prayer meeting on Tuesday, the Lord spoke to us about His Kingdom and how KLF is the yeast of His Kingdom that is precious and is influencing the Body (Matthew 13:33, 44, 45).

On Wednesday morning, at the women's meeting at Star Bucks, the Lord spoke to the women about how His glory is in His face and that we need to seek His face to see His glory! The week before, the Lord revealed more about "gates" and how His Kingdom people are gates to God's Kingdom! We praise God for revelation and the privilege of being able to feast on His Word and being taught by the Holy Spirit (1 John 2:27)!

Friday's IMPACT! meeting was very exciting as KLF's youth got together to meet with God and one another. We had a profound time exploring the significance of the "keys to the Kingdom" and how God has given His children the keys to bind and loose in order to manifest the Kingdom on earth as it is in heaven (Matthew 16:17-19)!

Yesterday's meeting was very powerful once again. The Lord is speaking to us about abiding in Him and we have seen that to have eternal life is to know God. To know God is to have fellowship with the Father and the Son. To have fellowship with Him is to abide in Him and He in us. As we grow in our knowledge of God through spiritual revelation, the Lord is revealing Himself to us as true royalty (see last week) but particularly as Abba, Father. So, yesterday the Lord was showing us the following:

When we believe in Jesus,

  • we are born again and become children of God. 1 John 3:1
  • we have a right to be called children of God based on what God has done for us. John 1:12
  • we receive the Spirit of sonship by which we call God our Abba, Father. Gal. 4:4-7; Rom. 8:14-17

The reason the Lord wants us to know Him as Abba, Father is the following:

  1. The Lord wants us to grow in intimacy with Him as we come to know Him both as Abba (Daddy) and Father.
  2. The Lord is exposing the Devil's plot to destroy God's image in man as Creator and Father.
  3. The Lord wants to restore natural fatherhood in this fatherless generation to reveal true spiritual Fatherhood.
  4. The Lord wants us to recognise that what we sow in the natural we will reap in the spiritual. Therefore our attitude toward our earthly father reflects our attitude toward our heavenly Father.
  5. The Lord wants to restore the true image of Fatherhood so that His children can reveal Abba, Father to the world.

The Lord then showed us something very profound and exciting. Looking at Numbers 21:8,9 and John 3:14, Abba, Father revealed the following:

  1. The Israelites were disobedient and consequently received the punishment they deserved. Numbers 21:4-7
  2. Moses prayed for the Israelites. 21:7
  3. The Lord did not remove the snakes!
  4. The Lord made provision for the healing of the Israelites by making a bronze snake that was to be raised upon a pole so that anyone who looked at the bronze snake would be healed. 21:89
  5. Consequently, that which was distorted in the natural was restored in the spiritual by looking at perfection.
  6. Jesus reveals in John 3:14 that this incident is a shadow of God's purpose in Christ's death and resurrection!
  7. Whoever looks at perfect Life, the Son, will be healed of that which has poisoned one's life.
  8. Similarly, the Lord was showing us that as we behold Abba, Father, we will be healed of the consequences of distorted and poisoned fatherhood (abuse, rejection, absent father etc).

What is exciting about this revelation is that it confirms that it is as we worship God and fix our eyes on Him that we are healed. It is Abba, Father's way of healing His children. Glory to Him.

Quote of the week:

"Both Scripture and experience teach that it is we, not God, who determine the degree of intimacy with Him that we enjoy. We are at this moment as close to God as we really choose to be. True, there are times when we would like to know a deeper intimacy, but when it comes to the point, we are not prepared to pay the price involved. The qualifying conditions are more stringent and exacting than we are prepared to meet; so we settle for a less demanding level of Christian living." J. Oswald Sanders

Abiding in the Light

Glory to God!

Sunday's meeting was awesome! Words cannot describe God's presence! The Lord is teaching us to abide in Him and showing us that in order to know Him, we need to receive spiritual revelation (1 Cor. 2:10-14; Eph. 1:17). We saw that the apostle Paul lived out of revelation (Gal. 1:11,12; 2:2; 1 Cor. 11:23; 14:6; 2 Cor. 12:7) and that revelation is received through Jesus (Luke 2:32; 2 Cor. 4:6).

To receive revelation is to receive light so that we can know the Father and the Son. From Hebrews 6:4-7 we learned that to be enlightened is:

  • to taste the heavenly gift of eternal Life
  • to share in the Holy Spirit
  • to taste the goodness of the Word of God
  • to taste the powers of the coming age

We also learned that to abide in God is to abide in His Light (1 John 1:1 - 2:11) and to continuously drink from Him (Heb.6:7; Psalm 36:6-9).

The Father also revealed to us that He wants to draw us into His bosom; a place of closest possible intimacy and rest (Gen. 16:5; John 1:18 - KJV).

Following communion, we entered into a time of worship as we focused completely on adoring our King. As we worshipped, God entered and His presence was heavily upon us. As we closed the meeting, two people testified to being healed during the meeting! Glory to God!

The Lord wants us to continuously abide in His presence so that His presence is always with us, thereby making Himself known to the nations through His holy people (Ezek. 36:23). Hallelujah!

On Sunday evening we joined TPL to minister to the poor and needy. We praise God for lives that are being touched and the relationships that are being formed.

Quote of the week:

"For God, who said, 'Let light shine out of darkness,' made his light shine in our hearts to give us the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Christ." 2 Corinthians 4:6

United in the River!

Praise be to God!

In these past 6 months the Lord has been speaking to us individually about how we can enter, stand and walk in the River of Revival. God’s fresh revelation to us has encouraged us to enter in by faith, realize the truth of God’s Word, yield to the Holy Spirit and see what a life looks like that has denied self and has yielded completely to the Holy Spirit.

Yesterday we sensed God begin a new phase in the life of Kingdom Life. The Lord is teaching us what it means to be a spiritual Body. Looking at Ephesians the Lord showed us the following:

  1. Jesus has been appointed to be the Head of the Church (1:22)
  2. Jesus has been given all authority and power over every other power and has been appointed as Head of the Church for the benefit of the Church! (1:20-23)
  3. We are being built together to become a spiritual building (2:21,22)
  4. The Lord appoints leaders to train and equip the Body so that the church reaches full maturity (4:11-16)
  5. When the Church is one in spirit and purpose, she will reveal the manifold wisdom of God to the rulers and authorities in the heavenly realm (3:10.11)

In view of these truths, the Lord helped us to see what a spiritual Body isn’t and what it is. He showed us that there are 3 types of Bodies:

1. Physical-Body

A group of people that may look like a church but are really only connected by the fact that they are in the same place at the same time.

2. Soulish-Body

A group of people that are connected through the soul (mind, heart and will).

Everyone gets along as long as there is agreement in selfish mind-sets; selfish needs are met and selfish desires can be executed.

Superficial unity operates until there is an obstacle: disagreement of mind-set; selfish needs aren’t met and selfish desires are not given room to operate.

Once this soulish unity is challenged, the spirit of offense begins to poison the believers so that they must either repent and submit to God’s will, or they leave the local Body to find another soulish Body where they can fit in, or they cause division in the local Body as they poison others, or they remain passive and resort to operating like those in a Physical-Body.

3. Spiritual-Body

A gathering of people who lay down their lives for one another. These people recognize that the only thing that stops one from being one in spirit is self since there is only one Spirit and He doesn’t bring division or disagreement! So they lay down self in submission to one another so that they are one in spirit and purpose.

The Spiritual-Body recognizes that in order for the Body to reach full maturity, God appoints leaders to whom the Body must submit so that the people are equipped and order is in the house as the leader is led by the Holy Spirit to orchestrate the various anointings in the Body and “each part does its work.”

We praise God for what He is showing us and challenging us with.

God is faithful and we were greatly encouraged by reports of His faithfulness in healing people and for His provision. All glory to Him and may we continue to risk for His glory to manifest His presence, power and love wherever we go!

Yesterday evening we joined Treffpunkt Leben to feed the homeless and needy. God is stirring things up with these people and yesterday a Polish-German man gave his life to the Lord and will begin attending either TPL or Kingdom Life. Hallelujah!

Next month we will be providing food for the needy on 3 Sundays: 9, 23 and 30 December. For the Christmas dinner on the 23rd both TPL and KLF will be collecting approx. 200 shoe boxes and filling them with good things for the needy.

I praise God for the way He is truly fulfilling the vision He has given KLF to raise up a people after His own heart, marked by His presence, power and love who reach the lost by risking for His glory!

Quote of the week:

“Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love. Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace. There is one body and one Spirit.” Ephesians 4:2-4

River of Revival

Praise the Lord!

Yesterday's meeting was awesome! God is steadily adding to our number and He is speaking to us about the River of Revival. He is showing us that the Source of the River of Revival flows from His presence; that the River of Revival is the Holy Spirit and that the Destination of the River is the world.

Looking at Revelation 22:1-5 and Ezekiel 47:1-12, we were given a spiritual picture with which the Lord revealed a spiritual principle (Hebrews 9:1-8) to us concerning how He desires His spiritual people (John 7:37-39; 1 Cor. 6:19) to live to bring revival.

We are excited because people's lives are being visibly changed as they experience and encounter the Lord of Life as we meet together and pray for one another. People are experiencing newness of life both spiritually and physically (just last Friday a sister was healed completely from severe leg pain!) As we spend time at the Source, pressing in further in our worship of God and as we seek to understand, know and experience the River, we know that the Destination will be affected for His glory!

God is on the move and it is time for the whole Church to jump into the River so that we do things His way and not ours! Then, we will see immeasurably more than all we can possibly ask or imagine, according to HIS POWER that is at work in us! (Ephesians 3:20, emphasis mine)

Quote of the week:

"We are changing from being a spiritually dry, consuming Church that relies on the ministry of others to find their destiny, to becoming a living, breathing army of people who are productive and anointed." Graham Cooke

God's favour is upon us!

Hallelujah! This Sunday's meeting was awesome! God is present and He is adding to our number. The Lord's favour is truly upon us and He is confirming His Word to us over and over again.

A couple of our people testified about risking for His glory last week at McDonalds and a shopping mall and seeing God heal and touch two people. This has prompted us to start a TESTIMONY blog to record how God's Kingdom is being furthered on earth as we risk for His glory and see miracles, signs and wonders as God confirms His Word (Acts 14:3) and glorifies His name!

Last week a number of us met Richard Maybery (picture) who was visiting Germany and ministering in Speyer Vineyard over the weekend. He brought great encouragement and all who spent time with him were refreshed in their spirit and built up in their faith. Richard has KLF on his heart and is excited about what God is doing in and through us.

This evening we will have another exciting time with the Lord as we meet to pray in downtown Frankfurt and this Friday IMPACT will be getting together again.

We praise God for His favour upon us!

Quote of the week:

"Stay current with the current of the Holy Spirit!" Richard Maybery
